We arrived in the middle of the night to be greeting with fresh flower lays and a smiling driver. When sun rose the next day we realised we were in a magic place. Our beachfront bungalow was spotless, private and surounded by beautiful palm trees. Angela is your host here, she just cannot do enough for you. There are two...

My husband and I recently stayed at Magic Reef Bungalows, and highly recommend it if you are looking for something quiet and intimate, low key and friendly. With only 9 bungalows, all with a view of the beach and the beautiful sunsets, it was the ideal setting for an idyllic relaxing holiday. We had one of the two bungalows that...

I have recently stayed at Magic Reef Bungalows. The accommodation is first rate, spacious and clean and each bungalow having its own front deck. Clean linen and clean towels every couple of days and even the beach towels are provided for you. A small cooking area in each little kitchen area allows you to prepare your own meal if you...

This was a return visit to Rarotonga. Magic Reef Bungalows is like a world of its own. It is so quiet and peaceful. Amazing gardens. The pool set back from the beach is a great place to cool off. The outside bathroom is just fantastic. Although the lagoon is shallow, you can see some amazing fish snorkelling around when the...

Me and my partner stayed here for the second half of our trip in Rarotonga in December last year. After all this time we still talk about it and hope to return sometime soon so I thought it was about time I wrote a review! All of the staff (receptionist, house-keepers, manager) were so welcoming and helpful- we were allowed...

We stayed at Magic Reef Bungalows for four nights recently. We had a most enjoyable stay. It is a small boutique environment. Only a small number of bungalows, every one having a view of the water. Angela and her staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Each bungalow has a king size bed, the outside bathroom...

This has to be one of the best places on the planet that we have ever stayed. The owners made us feel at home from the word go,and the amazing bungalows were first class. A beautiful uncrowded beach{we had it all to ourselves] and the view of amazing South Sea Island sunsets made the Magic Reef the very best part...

I work in Hospitality and am fairly well-traveled. The staff at the Magic Reef couldn't be more friendly or welcoming. The bungalows were spacious and it was easy to save some money by cooking our own meals. The location was perfect for us: a beautiful, uncrowded beach with a view of the sunset. Our only regret is that we couldn't...

I have just spent 17 days in the amazing Rarotonga, staying at Magic Reef Bungalows. What an experience. The new owner Angela and her lovely staff were so friendly and welcoming. The bungalows are all stand alone. They spacious and beautifully furnished with a huge four post bed, matching furniture, lovely outdoor shower and bath and immaculately presented. They have...

I spent the first week of November at Magic Reef, the new owner Angela and her staff are excellent. They really made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The Bungalows are quite large, beautiful and clean and are very nice to stay in. The four poster beds are huge. The private outside shower/bath area is great....
