Lagoon Breezes was an absolutely amazing place to stay. Great service from the moment of arriving until the day we left. All the staff from front desk, room maintenance, security and breakfast service amazing. The location right across from the most fabulous snorkelling is highly recommended. Bus service out on the road, probably recommend hiring a car if you are a couple wanting to try local restaurants as we did and not cook. Resident cat Hokey Pokey and dog Cocoa just added to the feeling of being in a lovely friendly place.
We visited with family. There was 10 in total with 3 children (two under 5). We had the big house down the back and it was perfect. The staff are very friendly and nothing was ever an issue. The breakfasts in the morning were a really nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay
We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa. It was beautiful, set in peaceful and quiet, well kept grounds. Across the road from the beach and a bus stop. Self catering, there was a hob and a microwave, with all the basics for what we needed. Bathroom is spacious and modern. There was aircon in the bedroom, which we didn’t need, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom and lounge areas. There are insect screens on all the windows (which we just left open) and mozzie coils were in the cupboard. Breakfast was included, and comprised fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast and tea/coffee. Served between 7.30 and 9.30 and delicious. There’s a guest laundry, operated by a token ($5 from reception) for the washer and dryer. There are also clothes lines to use. Works out way cheaper than the local laundromats. The ladies servicing our villa was delightful and very friendly. Reception staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to others.…
We had a truly relaxing, beautiful and memorable 5-night stay. We were upgraded to a larger villa at no extra cost which was so very much appreciated. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. Loved the gardens, the accommodation (spotlessly clean, high quality and comfortable), the tropical breakfasts, and the pooool - oh my goodness! Hearing the sea so close by, being able to stroll over to the beach for a dip, a snorkel or a kayak (all kit provided for free), smelling the franjipani, relaxing by the pool in the gorgeous gardens... heavenly! The holiday we dream of. We wanted to stay on and on...
Really happy with: Standard of facilities, excellent breakfast & happy hours - Staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and gave some excellent tips on restaurants - activities and sorted motorbike hire-age for us, when we struck a problem. Venue was a brief walk 3-4 minutes to the Rarotongan Resort - but of you have transport the world is your oyster and we got out and about experiencing what Rarotonga had to offer. Some more shelving in the large wardrobe would have been ideal. But we were very happy - Thank you for an excellent break - our first time on the island and we will come back
An extremely pleasant stay. I had the trip booked some years ago but COVID put a halt to that. I stayed in a Garden room. Very basic but has everything you need. Staff including management were fantastic to deal with. I would definately stay there again and pass on a huge thanks to everyone at Lagoon Breeze Villas. Regards - Glenn. 😃
Lagoon Breeze Villas is a laid back, spacious and quiet set of villas located just across the road from an epic snorkelling the beach. The hosts are SO helpful and laid back, nothing is a problem. The breakfast was just delicious - a selection of cereals, toast and tropical fruit. There is so much to do here - the pool is the best on the island, there are kayaks, reef shoes and snorkel gear. The Rarotongan is just down the road if you want lunch or dinner out but you'll be greatful to get back to Lagoon Breeze. Beluga is a restaurant close by for a yummy lunch. Car/scooter/bike rentals are a short walk away and the bus stops right outside. The villas are well equipped and have everything you need. The beds are super comfy. There are BBQs around the resort for you to use. We liked the 2 bedroom villas a lot more than the 1 bedroom ones so it's worth paying the extra if it is more than two people. Our two young kids loved Lagoon Breeze and we can't wait to go back, we wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island.…
Delightful stay here, the staff were all so friendly, gardens immaculate and a delicious breakfast every day. We were one of few groups staying so had the facilities almost all to ourselves. Best of all there are the most friendly dog and cat Coco and Chuchu who made us feel at home
We have stayed at Lagoon Breeze quite a few times over several years and were glad to be able to finally get back after the borders were opened up. Not sure what to expect due to Covid 19 however we didn't need to worry at all. The complex including grounds were perfectly maintained and spacious . All staff were welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. It was a shame that not may villas were occupied due to low visitor numbers. This was the same throughout Rarotonga during February. Everything was running as normal with the exception of happy hour which would have not been the same anyway with low numbers. Breakfast was its usual high standard with a great variety of local fresh fruit, cereal, toast etc. Did plenty of snorkeling in the lagoon over the road. We were glad to be be able to support Lagoon Breeze and Rarotonga in general. Many thanks to Vikki and the the whole staff for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Will certainly will be back later in the year. This is one of the best holiday complexes in Rarotonga and is highly recommended. Excellent for couples or families .…
Me and two friends stayed there for 5 nights. We had a very pleasant stay in our newly renovated room. The room was modern and clean. The villas are in a lovely peaceful garden which meant the rooms were nice and quiet. Our host Vicky was very welcoming and friendly. She sorted out all our airport transfers for us, which was very helpful. The included continental breakfast was very good. There was a wide range of local tropical fruit along with, cereal and toast. The beach right outside the villas was fantastic with some of the best coral and tropical fish I’ve ever seen. Easily the best place to swim on the island. Overall I would highly recommend the place as it ticked all the boxes for a great holiday.
