We visited Bryn Eisteddfod for the first time today. It was fortunate that we had booked as it was very busy there. On Sunday ,they offer a carvery. The food was piping hot with a range of of vegetables and meats to choose from. The self service was speedy, the staff friendly and welcoming. The views from the conservatory were... More

19 of us came here for a sunday carvery in June. Even though the place was extremely busy , we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was excellent, not only serving new potatoes, but roast potatoes AND mashed potatoes too. There is also a wide variety of homemade puddings and unlimited tea/coffee!! Would highly recommend this place for... More

What a choice. No wonder the plates coming from the carvery were piled high with food. Choices of 4 roast meats, 4 differently prepared potatoes, carrots, mushy peas - you want it and it was there. Wholesome puddings. 3 courses £18, 2 courses £24. Choice of house wines at £15.The conservatory dining room is large and airy with excellent views... More

The couple who own the hotel literally rescued us when we discovered we had packed no tent poles for our family camping holiday. They were generous and accommodating and turned what could have been a disaster into a most enjoyable holiday. The stunning location of the hotel, just a few minutes walk from the beach, allowed us and our children... More

A beautiful recently refurbished country house in the heart of Snowdonia. Stunning views of the sea from their sizable and cosy conservatory or the mountains from their immaculate gardens. Mei and Karen are wonderful hosts who cannot do enough for their guests whether your staying over or popping in for a delicious carvery or glass of wine. Their knowldege of... More

Eight of us attended Bryn Eisteddfod last week for Sunday lunch. Excellent choice of four roasts and vegetarian option with ample choice of vegetable accompaniements. Home made starers and tasty puddings. The setting is stunning with beautiful gardens and the dining room light and relaxing. Very friendly owners and an award winning chef makes this venue a number one choice... More

While walking the Wales Coast Path we needed a bed in Clynnog Fawr so rang Bryn Eisteddfod. The owners explained that, having recently taken over, they were still in the process of modernising but, if we didn't mind a few rough edges, we would be welcome. They certainly made us welcome with a greeting even before we reached the front... More

Having heard friends say they'd been, we decided to try it. We were very glad we did. As soon as we walked in Karen the proprietor was there to greet us, we were given the choice to be seated at the table immediately or have pre lunch drinks at the bar-as we had the children with us we opted for...
