We only stayed one night at the Burra Bungalow. What a beautiful old house. Service was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. We slept so good in the quite and lovely surrounding. And the dinner (buffet); simply EXCELLENT. Worth staying more than one night.

We spent 4 nights in the Golden Tips bungalow and enjoyed it thoroughly. The GM Munish and his lovely wife take great pains to make all guests feel welcome. There is not much to do (which is great in one way!) except long walks, cycling, and badminton. Our 5-year-old daughter did get bored a bit but that can't really be helped in a serene tea estate setting like this. We loved the food, especially the Nepalese buffet that was arranged one of the days. The rooms are tastefully done, with plenty of artwork and paintings. Our building manager, Pranab, arranged for us to go to the Nameri National Park and also on the dolphin trail. We also picked up some nice souvenirs and local tea from the store they have inside the property. I would highly recommend a 2-3 night stay here. Make sure you don't make eye contact with the monkeys running all over the property!

Set among the acres of the Addabarie Tea Estate, this is a tea-estate-stay experience on steroids (gentile ones). The already colonial ambience of the estate bungalows and cottages have been embellished with a discerning eye. From the rooms, to the furnishings, to the furniture, to the fittings, to the art decor, to the crockery… all reek of an era long gone by, yet vibrantly alive and appreciable by the appreciative. We stayed in the ‘Second Flush Bungalow’, with beautiful large bedrooms, its own sitting and dining rooms, its own maids (there almost 24x7) catering to ones tea and snack needs, laundry etc. The meals were tasty, well presented and the manager, Munish and his wife were attentive to our every need there as well. The additional bonus here was an unusual botanical trail, where a naturalist / guide took you for a walk, explaining the local plants and trees along a well thought out walk on the property itself - an enjoyable ‘enclosed’ nature walk.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Lovely tea plantation and bungalows. Great welcome from the manager who was really helpful. Are stay was to facilitate access to Nameri and Orang national parks not I think the real focus of Wild Masheer. Evening meals were excellent buffets with a good range of Indian food. Now the madness Joan Baez Woodstock on a 2 song loop accompanied by fascinating dinner company if you like hearing the same thing over and over again interspersed by gulps of scotch. Other bungalow guests who couldn't be bothered to use a waste bin 2 foot from where they sat leaving the floor a mess of nuts, sweet papers and bottles expecting somebody else to clear it up. All in all the positives outweigh the negatives and we had an interesting guided botanical walk by a very knowledgeable and keen young man.

Wild Masheer is warm ! So if you are looking at a property which is perfect then thiqs is not because most things real and true are not perfect ! Every little thing in this property is assembled with a lot of love and taste and it reflects. The rooms the decor everything is far from the usual hospitality monotone and brings out the nature and the owners taste for it . The simple no network no intercom and no room service is a welcome break as this take you back to the era where the royalty’s were served ! You will be served amazing tea as many times as you want and with the same polite guesture every time . You can as the manager to take you for the tour to the tea estate and also arrange for the wildlife safari to nameri but they are not the experts . Morning flush is great too which gives you a feel of the glass house and log seating . You can ask for a nature walk too around the estate . We stayed for 3nights and just relaxed and enjoyed our time . Would definitely go back !
