GOOD The room was very large – we could have had a horse stay with us! The beds were very comfortable. Good shower. Nice staff in the restaurant. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice. Nice pool. BAD It is NOT an agriturismo. It is a stable and equestrian show complex, with some hotel facilities for (human!) guests. (It’s great if you’re a horse!) There is, however, NONE of the personal touch associated with an authentic Italian farm stay. Beware, as a lot of the photos of the property that make it look so appealing actually show equestrian facilities, not the hotel facilities. It is a weird place – vast and with poor signing so it’s not clear where (human!) guest facilities are situated and you feel you are intruding upon the horses’ domain. Our room was not decorated at all – we should have brought our own pictures to hang on the walls because there was absolutely no decoration, meaning the place had no charm. Our room was very dark, mainly because ALL FOUR Velux windows had broken electric blinds that were stuck in the closed position! The place looks fancy but it is somewhat superficial. It appears hastily and rather thoughtlessly refurbished with little attention to detail as the room had issues such as: loose shower door handles; worn shower hose; ceiling panels falling out of place; inadequate space in the bathroom for guests’ toiletries; a room between the bathroom and bedroom that is wasted space – it would have been better to incorporate this into a bigger bathroom; lack of practical use of the vast room space – the two chairs and table are lost in the vastness of the room; one of the lights in the room didn’t even have an on/off switch, so you had to screw in/out the lightbulbs to turn it on/off! Seriously! Restaurant was on the first floor with no lift for baby buggies – we had to carry ours all the way up and down two flights of stairs. Food at dinner was good, but too expensive for what it was. While the pool was nice, there were not enough sunbeds or parasols for the number of guests, so people would reserve them with towels and leave them in place as they went elsewhere (in one case for more than four hours!).

Great location near Milan. Beautiful place, very good restaurant and nice pool. Also good breakfast. So everything for a good stay at a friendly price. The place is about 20 kilometers from Milan, so easy to visit the city as well.

The pro’s and con’s of this hotel in our view are: Pro’s • WIFI was free and good • Price included breakfast • Room a good size • Air conditioning; although not strong enough • Nice balcony • Bathroom was a good size • Bathroom had amenities • Hairdryer • Fridge; although could do with a clean • Good size safe • Comfy beds • Nice solid furniture • Nice size pool • Food a good price • Friendly staff • Interesting surroundings Con’s • Need transport to get anywhere • Breakfast selection was poor • Used towel in bathroom still there after housekeeping • Clump of hair on pillow (Not ours) • High level bathroom window needs obscure glazing/obscure film • TV stations limited • No tea making facilities in room • Gated entrance; Get out of car to enter and leave the premises • Food was adequate Our stay was pleasant and we would recommend this hotel.

We used this agriturismo for an overnight stay. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were big and clean. Wonderfull to have a pool to cool off after a long journey. A bar on site to have a drink and a restaurant to have nice meal. We were impressed at the immaculate stables.

Very nice, new and modern horseriding center: - Lots of horses to see incl. competitions on weekends - Nice pool and playground for kids - Great location to explore the vincinity (Milano/Bergamo 30mins away) - Nice breakfast, very good pool food - Clean and modern rooms, new houses Two things that were not so good: - Unfortunately there is no option to do horseback-riding at the farm. All horses are private and the hotel does not offer activities. Maybe contact with the private owners can help - Checkout is 11am. . This is in particular a pity since you practically can't use the pool etc. on the day of departure (especially bad if you only stay 1-2 nights like I was). I was offered late checkout (4pm) at 50% of a daily rate - which I did not take
