Lovely hotel in the desert. It is a bit far from the desert entrance so we recommend you let the camp driver pick you up. The place was great, but the toilets/bath were very small and not exclusive. Kind and serviceminded staff. Most importantly - amazing dinner !!! (and breakfast)

This is the most remote camp inside Wahiba Sands, a beautiful desert in Oman. Amazing dinners, great quality and taste! The camp doesn’t serve alcohol. Lots of activities are available. But it’s not new; but really worth the trip!

Awesome one night stay. Staff friendly & helpful and the food was top up . Lots of things to do and an amazing sunset at the top of the dunes. Stars at night were incredible. The stargazing was unbelievable with full of arrangement and support, Would definitely recommend!

Staying at this camp is a wonderful way to experience the Wahiba Sands desert. You can walk right out of the camp up the dunes at sunset, or after sunset to see the stars. The camp offer many activities, which is great to be available and possible in that place. We enjoyed the star gazing with the camp and the astronomer who was knowledgeable and the powerful telescope enabled us to see the stars , clusters and some planets, with great clarification of sky map. It’s one of the best point I even seen in my life for stargazing and stars meditation. The staff is super nice and efficient, with a special attention to Sharif, Eric and sure Mr.Abijiti the camp manager. Highly recommended camp. Definitely will be back soon.

Probably the most peaceful camp I've ever visited. staff were friendly and attentive. there is a lovely infinity pool ,biking and area for beautiful animals. We really enjoyed the Stargazing in the camp , the sky was fascinating and the astronomer was knowledgeable enough to guide us deep in the sky, we really enjoyed and learn many things, really appreciate that.

We would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Camp . The staff were all lovely, gave great customer service. We noticed great additional experience with stargazing, it’s lovely activity give enough information about space , sky , stars , objects and teach how to find the direction though deep explanations from the guide there . In the context of a road trip in Oman, my wife and I spent two nights in the 1000 Nights Camp from 15 to 17 January 2023. We were hoping to feel the desert and experience a "different" stay, at a good distance of concrete let’s say. Reality went beyond our expectations. Our time over there proved to be more than enjoyable. The site is unique, the accommodation is very comfortable (we had selected the Sheikh Tent Deluxe room), the desert imposes its tempo, the food is authentic, very diverse and excellent, and the - local - people are absolutely great. They do whatever they can to adjust to.your wishes in a simple and warm way. Access to the hotel site with a two,way escort perfectly works (adjustment of the air pressure in the ties of our rental 4WD and 45’ drive along a sand strip from Bidayah to the Camp). Enjoy the sunset on top of the dunes going over there with quads provided by the Camp and, if you stay for more than one night, you can experience a local pattern ridding camels. Since we had already done that, we preferred to go the Wadi Bani Khalid and go back to the Camp a bit early to enjoy the desert once more. Quite frankly, should we go back to Oman, we would make a stop once again at the 1000 Nights Camp. Many thanks to the whole team. It was a very good staying, the staff are great and welcoming, reception and restaurant and the rest, food also was great and we enjoyed! Only disappointment about this place was Stargazing, actually they’re lying on you with this activity, we joined and we expect to see sky and planets with telescope, but guide only play with a laser and show stars, showed us only one object with telescope which even was not a real view of sky, it was a picture in LCD inside the toy telescope, I saw sky with a true telescope before thats why I realized! And we ask to see planets or other objects they answered no thats the only object visible tonight! And everything we asked he try to find it inside his phone! Thats why our family and other leaved!
