Stayed as part of a small group on a motorbike trip around the central belt of Scotland.

Sally and her family welcomed us into their lovely home. Massive room, excellent breakfast and some great character features in the property.

would stay again without doubt

A real little gem of place in a beautiful location with genuinely friendly owners and the best Scottish breakfast ever.
We would definitely return.
Easy to find and just off the motorway to Glasgow & Edinburgh but the views from our room gave no indication of this, they were stunning.
Beautiful old building.
We were made to feel most welcome by our hosts.

A grand house and grounds- originally the home of Earl of Annan - built in 1840's and retaining original features. A worthy conservation project.
Spacious (Maple) bedroom and bathroom with lovely views over open countryside.
Lovely breakfast in dining room with delightful open outlook to distant hills.
Very helpful and friendly hosts + dog 'Charlie'. Quiet secluded location.
Enjoyed an overnight stop as we drove down A74(M) from highland Scotland.
Very fairly priced.

Set the n beautiful garden grounds with amazing views across the country side. Sally and Alistair are lovely hosts, so warm and friendly. The breakfasts were probably one of the best breakfasts we have ever enjoyed!
Highly recommended

We were met at the door by Sally who welcomed us into her home. Once we found the house we were happy to have lots of room for parking. Inside, the staircase going up was very grand and our room was large and clean with lovely views over the fields.
There was an electric shower which I didn't like because when someone in one of the other rooms ran water or flushed the toilet the water turned cold.
The beds were extremely hard and I found it difficult to sleep on it. In the morning the breakfast was lovely. Lots of choices and everything arrived hot.
The one thing that really bothered me was her young son rolling around the dining room eating area "singing" while guests were eating. The dog wandering around was much quieter and less annoying.
