Amazing view and location. Great for spotting birds. Good for local hikes. Quaint mountain villages/atmosphere (Amedzofe especially). Awesome spot to relax peacefully. Nicely cool at night. Poorly trained staff with little concept of how to operate a hotel/hostel. Bad attitude. Mixed up our booking and other travellers. Difficult to get to and get out cheaply. Staff were often unhelpful but...

We stayed here for one night (only, thankfully) when visiting the area. They had lost our reservation, and we ended up in a tiny, un-ventilated air with dodgy mozzie screens. Also, the shared washroom/toilets weren't working. In its defence the room was cheap (60 cidis). However, my main compliant is that the personnel were unfriendly and wholly uninterested in helping...

We loved our stay here - stunning location in the mountains, really peaceful, great challenging hike to the nearby waterfall. Tony was a hero and went out of his way to help us, and taught us about local culture, politics, nature. The only downside for me was the big spiders in the bedroom...!

I stayed here as part of a large group in November. The rooms were comfortable and it was a nice change to have running water although the supply was limited. There are great views from Mountain Paradise and we found the temperature to be slightly cooler. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant although we were charged extra for salad...

Oh my gosh do I love it here! Tony is the owner and he does wonders with the property. It has such a cozy and friendly feeling and you get to know so many different people. My husband and I always try to stay here on our way through the Volta region but even if we are not staying, we...

I stayed at the lodge for three nights, longer than expected because I liked it so much. The rooms are nothing special, but they are clean and have everything you need. What makes this place so great for me was the staff (especially Mohammed) and the location. The view is stunning and they have a beautiful garden full of mango...

Simple rooms, great lotion and views, wonderful climate (cooler than other parts of Ghana). Great food and even better fresh juices. Tony is a great host. Peace and Veronica are great staff. Rooms are very simple but with clean bathrooms but much time was spent on the veranda watching the storms brewing and having cold drinks this was not important.

Great views surrounded us, nice food. Great owner and staff. We stayed in a mixture of double rooms and tents and loved it. Would thoroughly recommend. We spent only one day and night here but could definitely have spent longer. We found their games and we spent the evening playing monopoly.

A beautiful place. Unfortunately the staff was very uninterested, and the bed base was broken. Furthermore there ware some ill looking cats they didn't seem to take care of and very sad rabbits in tiny wire cages without food ore bedding. They ware placed out of sight and jused for their meat, but the way they ware being kept was...

We travelled to Mountain Paradise to go trekking in the hills (they are hills more the mountains) and to find what we hoped would be a cooler climate. Sadly this was defeated by the early arrival of the Harmatton wind, which blows in from the Sahara enveloping everything in a milky dusty haze severely reducing visibility. (we strongly advise all...
