Quaint hotel in a good, central location. The communal areas are crammed full of fascinating collections ranging from old telephones to parafin heaters. The hotel is clean and welcoming. Lovely pool.

What a wonderful gem of a hotel. I traveled with a solos walking group - 22 of us - for Christmas. My room was very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean - I had a lovely view (Room 32) with the sea in the distance. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel manager, Hakan, and his team - we were looked after so well and such a large group must have been challenging! Thank you! So if you’re after a home from home with exceptional service, STAY HERE!

Decent hotel with fruit garden and pool. Very quiet and chilled. The room was quite nice and hotel felt a bit like Marocco/ Turkish style which we liked. Lots of antiques in corridors gives this place a unique vibe. Unfortunately a very limited breakfast selection is a big disadvantage of this place. There are hotels of the same standards in this area with much better selection of food (- for instance Manolya hotel.) Our bath tub had previous guests hair blocking the drain... Which makes us think that no one cleaned and bleached the bathtub before our stay. Kindly asked a guy cleaner to clean it and he only removed the hair and didn't bring any bleach... I think overall is a good hotel to stay if you are hiring a car and planning to travel and sightsee a lot (however I would prefer more breakfast selection so you can leave the hotel with full tummy before your voyages :) we decided to eat breakfast outside of the hotel. We didn't stay much in a hotel just mainly slept in there. Once we tried to lie down on the pool chairs but they are so uncomfortable to relax on that we quickly left to travel somewhere else. WiFi didn't work on 1st floor at all. Giving it a 3 as it would be unfair to give more -comparing to other hotels of better standards we stayed in North Cyprus, but of course you get what you pay for so for this price is ok.

I chose this hotel because it is as small family run hotel in a good location for exploring North Cyprus. I arrived at Ercan airport late after a long delay and was collected by the owner's son. I therefore did not get to the hotel until midnight where the manager, Hakan was patiently waiting for me. My room was spacious with lots of cupboards, drawers and wardrobe with a safe. There is also a small fridge. There was a small balcony which overlooked both the sea and mountains. The first morning was spent exploring the beautiful gardens and one of the best freshwater swimming pools I have ever had the pleasure to experience. There is a pool bar and most days they played a lovely relaxing soundtrack. It truly was so peaceful and quiet. Made such a change from larger hotels with loads of people! This hotel only has 21 rooms and even when full, never felt busy. I stayed for 29 nights and felt perfectly safe on my own. The family and staff are so friendly and helpful and if you are looking for a complete "switch off" this is the place for you! I only booked the room so went out to eat most days. On the rare occasions, I stayed in, food is served lunch time and from 7pm. However, there are numerous bars and restaurants a short walk away or regular dolmus (bus) which run all over the place. Only about 30 minutes to Kyrenia which cost very little. By the end of my time, it really felt like home! I am going back next year! Finally, no need to take books as there is an extensive library.

At the beginning I had mixed feelings about the room and the whole place in general but location was just perfect. The place has very positive influence on guests even there are some small bits and pieces to improve. I will highly recommend this hotel.

We first stayed in July 2022 and returned on the 6th September. When you are in the pool, look around and see the surroundings of citrus, olive trees and other, then the breathtaking views of mountains, the feeling is indescribable unless you are there, tranquility, relaxation and “I never want this to end”, absolute heaven. Meryem, what a woman, hard working, never stops but happy and passionate about everything. Her son Fethi, friendly and helpful and always with a smile. Hilmi, what a worker and an asset to the hotel, constantly doing whatever it takes and nothing is ever too much for him. The downside? Saying “goodbye”. Thank you Lapida for everlasting memories

we had 18 days here in June 2022. what a wonderful and relaxing time. more or less had the pool to ourselves most days we stayed in the hotel. the really helpful and attentive staff helped to make this a memorable stay. from the manager Hakan, to Callum the general help and barman, in fact all staff were gret. my only negative was the building of new apartments across the road making noise from 7am.
