The hotel is gorgeous and cozy and a short walk from anything and everything in Zorita. Susannah is the sweetest owner and works tirelessly to make sure you feel welcome and at home! I was here from June-July 2023 and her efforts and the beauty of the hotel and its surroundings made it one of the best summers imaginable.

Really very good indeed. Welcoming and helpful staff and the associated restaurant down the hill about 150 yards is of very high quality. My wife and I, long retired, didn't want the Ritz but just a quiet, caring place and that is what we got: clean, comfortable and very Spanish. Only complaint is a reluctance to discard chipped coffee cups! We like antiquities, and there is a fascinating castle above the village, the only from-scratch Visigothic site in Spain about a kilometre away, and a splendid Roman site, Ercavica, an hour's drive away. We also bird watch, and the best time for this in the region is the autumn and winter, so we were too early: even so, we saw a spotted crake at a nearby dam which was a first for us: and lots of griffon vultures.

We spent 2 nights over easter and were happy with the hotel. Elías and his team are very friendly and helpful although slightly stretched by a busy holiday weekend. The room was fine and they welcome pets which makes a nice change. Because the resturant in the village is being remodelled (ready for June 2014) the hotel doubles as the resturant and bar which means it is quite noisy at present but this will not apply once the resturant reopens. The food is very good. A limited menu but very well prepared.

A marvel. The charming town, Susana attended to us and welcomed us wonderfully. The room and the bed, as well as the pillows, were very good for an inn. I went with two dogs and they behaved more than well with them, they didn't have any problems. Tranquility, rural, beautiful town. A lovely weekend

It was the first time I was going to sleep in an inn... and on the one hand it sounded like a movie about knights, crusades, princesses... everything was wonderful but on the other hand I had reservations, fear that I wouldn't like it.
I loved!!
The enclave, the river, the town, its houses, its river park, the church but what I liked the most was the Posada de Zorita de los Canes, charming!!
I slept in a beautiful place, I slept like a baby thanks to Susana who was in charge of receiving me to take me to Madre Badido the room where I slept, thank you!!!
No frills but very cute!!
The breakfast was lovingly placed and very varied, I will only say that you have to go there and experience it!!!
