Lovely bright comfy bedroom (no 5) with a spacious bathroom and whirlpool bath. Stylishly furnished and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant, slept really well in the soft bed and enjoyed a good full breakfast. Highly recommended.

This was our 1st visit to The Baron but it won't be our last! We styaed in room 2 at the front of the property, very quiet lovely views. Would probably ask for room 5 next time, a little more expensive but probably worth it. All the staff lovely, friendly, and helpful about the area and where to visit. Water,... More

We came to eat here on a Thursday evening. We were allowed to bring Dennis into the bar area which is always fine with us. We ordered two drinks sat down and played cards. It was around 1900. A young girl - member of staff asked from behind the bar if we wanted food. I said yes but not right... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your meal with us. We are very sorry that you had such poor service from the waitress. I believe this was a young member of staff who had just started working for us over the summer. Wi-Fi is freely available and no password is necessary. I will ensure all... More

We camped here for the first time this past weekend. The grounds were great. Views were beautiful. Would have loved to walked and seen more but unfortunately I am not able to. There is electric hook up. Pitches had lots of room around them. There is use of toilets and shower in the pub. Kept very clean. The owner was... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and were extremely impressed with the location, facilities, cleanliness and service from the staff. The room (number 4) had excellent views of the hills outside, and was well-equipped with a fan, hairdryer, toiletries and iron. All staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't help us enough. Would definitely recommend for... More

We just spent 2 nights at this wonderful little gem. The location is very quiet and peaceful with the sound of sheep and cattle in the background behind the imaculate garden and camp site - check out the hanging baskets. The room (no 5) was spacious and superbly furnished with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was also a good... More

We stayed four nights at the Baron and were not disappointed, it is a well run and friendly country inn with great hosts. They have put so much into making it a pleasure to stay or just eat and drink. The food especially the breakfasts were delicious with so much choice. The rooms were spotless with everything and more for... More

We recently spent 4 nights in this extremely comfortable country inn situated in a quiet area of Shropshire. The hard working owners make one most welcome. The accommodation is top class and the menus for both evening and breakfast are varied - and filling! We will hopefully return.

You will probably have been given a recommendation for the restaurant here as it's not something obvious to passers by in this beautiful part of southwest Shropshire. But seek it out, as many do You might also be wise to reserve a table, especially at weekends. Bar and dining room are comfortable, with interesting rustic ambience. The menu is interesting... More

We had three nights at the Baron recently, an excellent family run hotel in a quiet village. Our rooms were immaculate, very comfortable beds and plenty of room. Our breakfasts were enjoyed in a large conservatory overlooking the hotel gardens and lovely views of Bucknell hill. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, helping us plan our days out. Recommended!
