We stayed here whilst house hunting in France. It's a very nice building and very peaceful. It was a good location to stay in this area. English was understood and breakfast was good. We had a lovely room with ensuite.

This is a lovely relaxed hotel in a super setting, extremely quiet and peaceful. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, great English spoken!! The food was well presented and super tasty, especially the home made Jam at breakfast. We had a lovely stay, would recommend.

Domaine de Chantemerle is a typical French place. Room was very large and people was nice, but the decoration and equipment lacked a bit of modernism. We had dinner and it was nice. Can be a nice place to have quiet time.

We arrived after 8:30pm when dinner service had stopped and no food options available. Luckily there was a pizza place open a few miles down the road. Historic building from the outside but very modern inside. No 24 hour front desk service so don't forget your entry code!

Spent four nights in this lovely converted guest house. The room was large and simply, but with modern features (Air con etc), but I preferred to open the period windows allowing me to take in the French countryside. Breakfast was a basic affair, the homemade jam is some of the best I have tasted. The owners are very friendly and...

A lovely old property on the exterior but inside is a blend of the modern and old. The front desk is not permanently manned as we found out on our arrival (a error on our booking form indicated we would be arriving much later than we did) however a message on front door with contact details and a quick phone...

The hotel is well sign posted and on driving in the building looks impressive, plenty of free parking. The owner spoke English which was helpful and he was very helpful any time we asked a question. The interior is delightful and very clean. The only criticism of this hotel is the lack of facilities, they do a breakfast but no...

It is three years since we last stayed. This time we stayed two nights on our tour of France. I can fully recommend this lovely hotel. Built as a hunting lodge it now makes a magnificent hotel. Great rooms, impeccably clean. The owner speaks perfect English having worked with the Savoy Group in London and this background is clearly visible...

I travel to this area about 3 or 4 times a year and finding a decent place to stay us extremely difficult. I am on a search each time I come and in this trip, because I had time and I rented a car I was able to spread my search further afield. I discovered this hotel on a booking...
