When I first got to the Ranch, I was a little disappointed, in that I thought it would be more upscale than it was. Also, it seemed a little bit on the 'tired' side, with more of an upscale campground feel than a luxury resort. Once we were settle in, however, I felt a little more comfortable and 'at home'.... HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2016

A couple friends had their wedding at the Ponderosa Ranch Resort, so ~20 of my friends rented out a house here for the weekend. The house was really nice and had everything we needed. The breakfast at the main resort was good, and the two pools were a lot of fun. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for... More

We stayed for three nights booking a two bedroom house which was not cheap. Unfortunately the place itself did not live up to the high price. The house was first class, no complaints there. Staff were incredibly helpful and the food in the only restaurant was pleasant although the signature steak was awful. What disappointed us was this is not... More

We have spent 2 nights in a Cabin Suite at Zion Ponderosa. It was a great escape from the bright lights of Vegas and we were thrilled with the cute and quirky log cabin. It may seem expensive but running costs in remote areas are higher and so you can't expect to pay the same as a city! This location... More

We were at the Ponderosa Ranch last week. We were a little disappointed. We specifically booked this location for the promised evening activities and we called to specifically ask if they were going to have them the week were there - they said yes. It was not until we arrived that they told us the barn dance was cancelled, the... More

We stayed one night at Zion Ponderosa. We stayed in one of the ''glamping tents". It was a real fun experience. The tent had a queen sized bed along with a pull out queen futon. They had beside lamps and the beds were really comfortable! Restrooms not far from the site. Breakfast was pretty good but a lot of salt... More

We stayed in a cowboy cabin which had two queen bunk beds. Bunk beds were comfortable enough and room was clean. This is not a hotel, this is a camp ground it is not going to be as nice as a hotel. Community bathrooms and showers were clean and pretty close within walking range. The reason I'm rating this as... More

Called ahead as we knew we might be getting in before check in time. They said no,problem we could park our big rig in the large parking lot if the site was still occupied. Ended up not being an issue. Easy in and out of the place although we hitched up our tow dolly on the street on the way... More

Our two-night stay was a complete disappointment. There was a distinct sewer smell as we entered our cabin. There was disgusting trash under the grate at the front door. There was less than a fort between the bed and the wall on either side of the bed, making it difficult to get out of. The whole place was less than... More

This place was not what we expected from reviews or from pictures on website. Was in need of serious updating. 45 min away from shuttle at Zion so it's just so remote from anything on top of a mountain that is a long windy road. Pluses: hot tub star gazing was the hit. Kids loved the pool, although we only... More
