We were very impressed with Zion Lodge on a recent trip here with our family - remote, quiet and well run, we spent two nights here that we thoroughly enjoyed. The only lodging inside the park, only guests are allowed to drive into this part of the canyon drive, about 3 miles up from the main road. The lodge has...

We attempted to book a room while visiting Zion National Park. Unfortunately, they were sold out. We did get a chance to see the property and visit it's grounds while taking part in the Zion Scenic drive... it is one of the stops on the shuttle. Hop off and enjoy the grounds. The lodge has a huge green grass lawn...

Rooms are a bit "rustic" but fitting the location, ample space for 4 and small porch with rocking chairs, where wildlife passes by within a couple of meters in the morning and evening. The lodge itself is situated in the midst of towering cliffs, with a large tree and open space right in front which is an ideal spot to...

I haven't been to all of the National Park lodges, but this one gets the edge from me over Yosemite, Teton, Yellowstone (Lake & Old Faithful) and Crater Lake. All of them beautiful properties, but for the combination of location, view, and upkeep this lodge wins. We stayed in a lodge room, which was (as several mentioned) well-air conditioned and...

The rooms at Zion Lodge are exactly what I had hoped for in a park lodge. Furnished in arts and crafts style with comfortable rockers on the balconies. Mule deer graze on the lawn. Convenient access to the shuttle buses and trail ride corral. The restaurant was great too. The staff friendly helpful and knowledgable about the park. Terrific.

Booked a room at Zion 5 months before our trip. I kept trying to switch from a room in the motel to a cabin but there were none available. That was fine. The motel room was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. The separate dressing area was perfect since I was traveling with my family of 4 (2 teenage girls!)....

We just came back from a guided tour of the National Parks of southern Utah including Bryce Canyon and Zion. At one of those two parks (and I honestly don't know which one), I was attacked by BEDBUGS. Both lodges deny finding any but there's no question what they were because of the pattern of the bites (several in a...

We have stayed in the cabins several times over the past few years and found each stay relaxing and wonderful. The service is first rate, the cabins are comfortable and the setting is unbelievably beautiful. The only weakness in the operation is the restaurant which has very slow service; but if you eat outside as you can most nights, the...

We were very happy staying at the Zion Lodge for 2 nights. For a National Park hotel it deserves 5 stars. You need to go with the proper expectations. This is not a luxury hotel. Location is great since you are in the park. We were able to hike the Emerald Pools in the early evening on the day we...

We stayed in a cabin a Zion Lodge. It was very convenient to the outdoor activities at Zion National Park. The cabin had air conditioning, which was important as the temperature was above 100 degrees that day. The cabin had a porch with rocking chairs for relaxation. The dining area was a short walk to the lodge. I liked the...
