We Love Skyland! We have stayed there many times and always return. Some of the rooms are very modern and some are very rustic. We had a room with a beautiful view of the valley. You don't come to Skyland to watch TV or go online. The Wifi only works in the lodge and there are a few tv stations,...

We stayed in the Ravens Nest building our room was very nice with great views.Everything was clean and comfortable exactly as pictured when I booked. On the second night we stayed smokers checked in to the room next to us and we could no longer sit out and enjoy view due to the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke.I know all rooms...

We stayed in a really nice cabin that must have been recently renovated. Wood floors, tile bathroom and working HVAC. Rustic and great views of the valley. food was very good, but service was slow at time. But who really cares with the views. If you want to be in the heart of Hiking Trails this is a great start.

We stayed in one of the cabins. One window would not open (even with a lot of effort), the other 2 very difficult to open, on a very warm night. Hole/gap in screen. Lamp socket loose/falling out. Sink and Shower faucets leaking. Shower curtain too short - difficult to keep water from going on floor. Clearly maintenance is not a...

Nice place and a great location. The views are incredible. Our rooms was big, clean and comfortable. The dinning room and tavern food and service was great. If we ever return to the Shenandoah national park, we will would definitely stay here again.

This room was in one of the furthest away set of lodgings from the office and dining room. It was touted as most recently remodeled and upgraded. In order to get to this room with the great balcony view (I was there during heavy fog), I had to drag my stuff up about 12 steep concrete steps. Yes, the bathroom...

This hotel is older but clean & comfortable. Our room had a nice balcony but it was too chilly to hang out on it. The room was a great base for hiking. We ate breakfast at the restaurant (okay but a bit overpriced) & dinners at the pub. We loved the vegetarian chili & the blackberry lemonade. They have live...

It's all about location- Skyand resort is in a sprawling area right in the heart of Shenandoah National Park, on scenic Skyline Drive. It's a park, so don't expect high end luxury accommodations. Do expect amazing views, awesome trails, delicious food in the dining room, lighter fare in the taproom, even a small selection of sandwiches at the snack bar...

Our first trip to the park and stay at Skyland! Hotel has the most amazing views and lots of lodging choices. Front desk staff were so welcoming! Nice lodge, coffee bar and gift shop on site. We also had dinner at the restaurant - top quality food while looking out over the valley. Hotel is very eco friendly. Close to...

Skyland is on top of the Shenandoah Mountains on Skyline drive. The rooms are in units and they sit separately across an area and all have a valley view. It is an older facility and the rooms make you feel like you are in a cabin. Nothing fancy but very accommodating. Tv and coffee maker. Soap shampoo and lotion provided....
