We spend nearly a week at this great lodge nestled in Sequoia National Park. We enjoyed our trip. Highlights were the lodge meals, great snow, tubing and cross country skiing. Ice skating on the lake was closed, which was a bummer. The new year's eve dinner was amazing. Great 3-5 day trip.

This was a great location. The meals were included but we only had two days in the park so we only ate dinner at the lodge. Our room was dated but clean. The complaint I have on the room is that we were on the top floor of a lodge where the door was left open to a hall that... More

Room in the lodge was clean and bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the free happy hour in the evening. Great buffet selection for breakfast and dinner including GF options. Enjoyed the huge, open dining room allowing you to meet other guests. Great central location for exploring northern and southern sections of the park. Friendly staff. Great for families.

Our stay at montecito was very mixed and whilst I would ideally like to give it 3.5 that is not an option and therefore 3 out of 5 it is. First off we stayed in one of the new log cabins. Really beautiful space with fantastic views out on to the forest which you can enjoy from the sofa inside... More

the rooms are very comfortable even not so fancy. we had a great view to a little lake.the crew was very nice and helpful all the way, it is full board, and all day long there is drinking, cakes, and even wine and cheese in the afternoon.. and- as we are vegans, i asked the chef if he can spare... The location is great, with wonderful views of the park and mountains beyond. Close to the Giant sequoia trees - General Sherman ... about a 20 mile easy drive on state roads. The property is in decline, lack of investment, lack of attention to grounds etc. feels like it hasn't been updates since 1975. Sorry, but would not return.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay on our visit to Sequoia. Staff were helpful, hard working, and pleasant. Food was outstanding. While we did not have children with us, it would be a great place to bring a family. We would recommend a room or unit with a bathroom- we did not get our reservation in... More

The lake is wonderful, the new cabins are gorgeous. What really made our stay memorable was an employee that goes by the name of Shakti. She teaches yoga and does other jobs around the lodge. She gave us a private yoga class on the beach area and a private arts and crafts class. She was sweet and accommodating and really... More

I tried to book a room through the Montecito Sequoia Lodge and was given a reservation with the Stony Creek Lodge. The website is confusing and I didn't realize both lodges use the same booking system (I thought Stony Creek Lodge was part of Montecito based on how the booking is connected). We were hoping for the larger facilities and... More

Overall rating should be 3.5 but it is not an option, so rate it 3. My family of 4 (my mother, husband, one seven year daughter and myself) stayed in Montecito Sequoia Lodge for 2 nights,9/3/2016 and 9/4/2016. We booked a Lodge room which include one king, one bulk bed and private bath. It is a good stay but I... More
