Montecito Sequoia Lodge has a feeling of a family camp of an older era. The lodge is in a secluded location with a picturesque setting. We chose it for its close location to the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park. We also chose it because it allowed us to avoid staying near the southern entrance for the park, which we... More

My family has returned to Montecito Sequoia Lodge for summer family camp 5 years in a row! I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this place that has become our favorite vacation spot and second "home." The staff are phenomenal and go out of their way to ensure that adults and children alike are having the time of their... More

This is a very unique place you wouldn't expect to find in a national park. It is an excellent place for family gathering. You could reach any part of the park in less than one hour. The private lake and the surrounding forest with lots of hiking trails would allow you to do all kinds of activities year round. The... More

I couldn't book anything in the park and came across this place. It's like a summer camp but our basic cabins were spotless and very comfortable. It wasn't inexpensive but it was perfect to stop between the parks. One night comes with both buffet dinner & breakfast. Food was fine for our purposes and really beautiful if you eat on... More

Hotel: Not a 4 star hotel, maby the earned it for the pool, jacuzzi, lake with canoes and other things but defenetly not for luxury. Dining room takes you back to the eightys, dinner is terrable, breakfast is fine with lots of fruit, yoghurt and any kind of eggs you like, good coffee! Free wine and cheese tasting between 5... Great lodge located right in Sequoia National park, close to the major attractions, and perfect for families. It's essentially like going back to summer camp. The resort has a pool, archery, fencing, campfires & sometimes singing a song s'mores around the campfire. Meals are included and one can get a take away lunch for hiking. We thought the meals very... More

We stayed 3 nights at the lodge while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Location is perfect if you want to see both - it is right between the parks and you can get to either in 20-30 min driving. We stayed one night in the main building and two nights in one of the cabins. We would have... More

We were visiting Yosemite and a ranger told us not to waste time there if we were heading to the Kings Canyon/Sequoia area so we got to looking for a last minute reservation and the montesito lodge popped up and i snagged it! After driving to the top of the range we pulled down a long drive to be pleasantly... More

To be concise this property offers great location but low comfort for a premium price. We had to reserve a room for three weeks in advance. It is a very old property except a few cabins. We stayed in the main building. Room looked like a 30 bucks cheap motel. Too warm from late morning till anout 3 am at... More

My sisters and I got a luxury cabin it was beautiful, plenty big, set in great scenery. WIFI wasn't great in the cabin, but fine in the main Lodge and it was great to disconnect. The meals were GREAT! I loved the fact that they packed your lunch for you for the next day's hike. That, to me, is above... More
