I would recommend this place even if you're thinking of staying inside the park. It's two miles from the Mineral King entrance and maybe 20 minutes from the main entrance, but the views are as spectacular as what you see in the park and it's really secluded. You have the area around the cabins all to yourself!

Exceeded my expectations. We got our food for our stay on the way to the cabins in Visalia and glad we did as cabins were miles off the main road. Very secluded, no cell service but owners have landline and met us on arrival and checked on us each day. Pleasantly surprised how nestled in the mountains we were, yet... More

Everything was cobbled together, owners are rude and did not clearly explain payment even though they want your credit card on the phone they end up wanting cash by knocking on your cabin at 9 at nite, creepy, generator sucked, shower 1 step above a trickle, mice under floor, sewer smell omitting from under trailer.or mini mobile cabin, and the woodpeckers pecking on the front all... We spend two nights, and three days in this Cabin (August 1 - 3, 2014). I have a HUGE family. So we pretty much took over Cabin #1, #2, & #3. Cabin #3 was my favorite! Spectacular view, and very peaceful! Jamey is such a great host. He treated my family as if it was his, and it showed. He... More

Looking at the rest of the reviews, you're either gonna love Ranch champagne or hate it! I don't think you can be critical of the road up to the cabins. You can check road conditions and figure out that it is a very windy dirt road that requires careful driving. There are woodpeckers around and the cabin and trees, power... More

We just spent two nights here and throughly enjoyed it. Jamey is a great host and made sure we were comfortable with our cabin. So out of the way yet not so far from town. The stars at night were incredible. We will stay here again for sure.

The road to this cabin is truly unbelievable. I am amazed that it takes you to an entrance of a National Park--it is quite a scary drive. It is basically a one-lane road on a cliff's edge. There are small turnouts in some places--but who knows if it will be when and where another car is coming. Because of the... More

This is the most secluded wonderfully majestic spot I've ever stayed. It's rustic, but not. Cabins have electricity, running water (on property spring, yum), and evaporative coolers, which are just perfect for the location. There's a stove, (no microwave so remember that), a fridge, and TV/DVD/VHS with tapes. It reminded of how a family vacation should be alone, quiet, a... More

The cabin was great! The owner Jamey was very accomidating! Had car trouble, so Jamey went above and beyond to make out trip fun!! He has some great corny jokes, and is fun to be around. Felt like we were visiting family!! Mineral King road is not too bad to drive on!!
