Clean, bare bones lodging. A/C system pulled in smoke from camp fires during the night. Filter needs upgrading. Otherwise, hotel is charming. Sound of river can lull you to sleep. We upgraded to include breakfast for two adults. More than enough food to feed our family of four. Slow WiFi so if you need internet or make cell phone calls,... More

We arrived after a long drive just before 8pm, very tired. On arrival we were asked for a credit card- as per normal at American hotels we thought this was going to be for a temporary deposit block. However when we returned from our break we found a $42 charge to our account. I emailed them and was told that... More

I've been wanting to go spend some time at cedar lodge for a couple years, my wife is not a camper so the patio room we stayed at was perfect for us. The room was comfortable and bed great. My only complaint was the spider webs and the bugs crawling around the bathroom at night. We brought our own food... More

The location is fabulous. It is very close to great hiking. With that said unless you camp it's the only game in town. The rooms are standard old NP motel rooms. That is just fine and what you would expect. Now comes the problems...the walls are tissue paper thin so you hear each and every sound your neighbor makes...even shuffling... More

A wonderful location, quiet at night. Super summer swimming spot beside the hotel in the river - though be careful if you're not a strong swimmer as the current is very strong. Water pressure in the room not strong at all. Food at the snack bar was surprisingly good. We ate breakfast & an evening meal here and both were... More

We didn't made a reservation, but walked-in and asked for a room. We were very happy that they had a room for one night and the price would be $ 140,-- + $ 1,-- donation. The following morning we left and we asked for a receipt ( it was $140,--). A few days later we saw they charged $ 193,--... More

Nothing special about this lodge other than location. Wow! Perfect! There is no TV, WiFi is slow- BUT YOU ARE IN A NATIONAL PARK TO GET BACK TO NATURE! :) Beds were small (double). Clean sheets and towels. We had a patio room. Which was on the ground floor and overlooked to river. Just wonderful. My only reason for taking... More

We had a fun time! The lodge is in a great location with good services. The staff are pretty awesome. The lodge has a handful of rooms so once the place clears out in the evening it feels like no one is really around. There's no cell reception in the valley and the internet is really slow. I really liked... More

The lodge is clean and simple with really nice staff at the front desk and dining area. The prices in the store were surprisingly very reasonable. You can hear the river all night and it's pretty soothing. We woke up in the middle of the night and the stars were endless. There's plenty of hiking around and you have a... More

This place is way out there. Long, winding road to get there (my stomach got a little upset) so they have to import everything from far away. My husband was impressed with what they were able to do considering their location. The staff was excellent and our room was clean. I was able to borrow a hair dryer but not... More
