Got a nice place (#20) that is also handicap accessible (you can only get it if it is the last one available) - has barely any shade so keep that in mind if you are planning more than just 1 nighter. You have food storage for bears and trash cans near by. PRO: the most amazing water stream just 5...

We camped at spot #1. The campground is really convenient with flush bathrooms, picnic tables, and fire rings. There's a beautiful trail starting from this site with waterfall and amazing views. It's located not far from the famous General Sherman Tree and also fairly close to the park entrance in case you forgot to bring something with you.

It is very difficult to subjectively rate this campground, since we stayed there only over the weekend. Perhaps, if it was on any other day, we would have enjoyed peace and quiet in the nature. The campground itself can be easily found off the main road in the Sequoia National Park. However, be mindful of the narrow and curvy road...

We stayed at this campground with several friends (we booked three sites). It was a very peaceful and pleasant camping location. The river is close by and great to frolick in. There are a couple of hiking trails right by the site, but it is worth the short drive to stop by Potwisha and hike the Marble Falls Trail. Don't...

Arrived at the campsite Sunday afternoon. The bathrooms were totally backed up, unsanitary and septic. Asked the Ranger if they were going to be fixing them soon, replied that the person responsible is off until Tuesday. IMHO, it is entirely unacceptable to have restrooms that are in this condition, especially when children are involved. We were able to use the...

I read the review below and it convinced me to come here and I am really glad I did. What a lovely spot. It is not far from the entrance to the park, so it is easy to get to and convenient if you are tired of driving. I came Sunday night and there were already some pretty noisy people...

This is a first come first served campground for tents only. It is $18 per night. There are flush toilets and utility sinks. Showers are at Lodgepole visitor centre and cost $3 per shower. The camp is quite a long way from the Giant Tree area, made longer if there are road works going on, it's a pretty drive though....

“If you get there early enough you can get the spots by the river”

“If you want a campsite next to the river in the off-season, get there early, as these sites are the first to fill. Now that the Park Service has a reservation program, it's easier to get what you want.”
