Loved the room and location, it was very cold so next time I will choose a cabin closer to the bathrooms. Also had trouble using the wood burning stove the first night. Great location for hiking and exploring the park.

We stayed at a duplex cabin in Grant Grove in September 2016 for one night. The check in process was fine. When we entered the cabin my husband and I were both shocked with how outdated it was. Keep in mind, we weren't expecting fancy as we know we were in the middle of the woods. However, when looking around... More

Comfortable and quiet one room cabin . The bedding was very nice and beds comfortable The only noise was from the squirrel on the roof. I didn't make use of the front porch but certainly would have used both the rocking chairs and the wood stove had I had more time. It was a short walk to the buffet for... More

The cabin was great, my husband and I shared the cabin with our 16 year old twins. there was plenty of room, cabin was clean, warm. Wood burning stove was great for cooking our food. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The park was beautiful, and weather held out!

We stayed in a camp cabin for 5 nights in mid October, The cabins are lovely and I really loved the location among the trees and the cabins are not clustered together but spread apart and have wood burning stoves outside and a little picnic area, we had mule deer outside our cabin on 2 occasions and it was lovely... My son and I decided to take a last minute trip to the Sequoia's and Grant Grove was the first lodging I came across. The website said that for the first time they were making the cabins available through November and we got a terrific deal. They are charming little cabins which provide a nice step up from tent camping.... More

Difficult to book a tent cabin via the website. Staff not intelligent. Cabin mostly well equipped but lacked a few basic/cheap features such as a hook for a lantern, a mirror and enough blankets for end of season weather. The wash house was in dire need of a revamp, blocked loo, lack of locks on the loo doors, no hooks... More

"Rustic" shouldn't mean falling apart -- especially for $110/night. Sheet plastic covered the roof of this dumpy old cabin. There was an old garbage bag and pieces from a string mop scattered on the walkway up to the cabin. The thermostat on the wall heater didn't work, so we had to get up and down during the night to manage... More

I generally enjoyed this great old cabin with a porch and picnic table set in beautiful surroundings. However, the gas heater produced a bad odor in the cabin which I aired out with keeping two windows open at all times. Apparently they are slowly replacing the old heaters with new ones.

I rented a heated tent cabin with my friend. When arriving in the late afternoon, unfortunately it was really dirty. Yes it is old and has some kind of flair to it, but I would never hang anything in the closet. Spiderwebs on the ceiling and behind the bed, smelly, who knows what else lives in the cabin. Shower-/restroom house... More
