We stayed in a cabin with bathroom and to us it was luxury as we had just stayed at tent cabins in Yosemite. The cabin had two comfortable beds and the bathroom was clean, I don't think housekeeping visited us during our stay but we didn't mind. The surrounding area is spacious and quiet and the cabins are a short... More

Comfortable rustic cabins in the Park - great value for money and very friendly helpful staff at the lodge, and amazing trails at your doorstep. I stayed in the cabins which had comfortable beds and amenities close by, with a tasty breakfast served int he lodge

We stayed in a tent cabin at the "fall special" rate of $55/night. We were surprised at how clean the cabin was. The furniture was brand new (with tags!) and the canvas seemed to have been recently redone. We did get a little cold at night, but used our sleeping bags in addition to the sheets and blankets on the... More

I had an amazing time spending 2 nights in a tent cabin. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The restaurant, gift shop, and visitor center were excellent. I'd definitely plan another trip at this location.

When cabin camping, I expect barebones Boy Scout camp like shelters. Was shocked to discover this was full beds with linen service and electricty in the cabin. My fiancee isn't much into roughing it so she was thrilled by this. Wood stove for cooking and warmth next to the picnic table could use some TLC, but worked just fine. There... More

Don't look for amenities here in the cabins. It's the basics: bed, bath, heat. I stayed in cabin 8 with two double beds. The one I slept in was uncomfortable but that was just me. The bathroom is functional but the staff needs to work on their cleaning routine. The shower had a lot of soap build up. The thermostat... More

Cabins are quaint. Cleaning a bit lax. Communal showers that do not always give you hot water. Other facilities good. Store well stocked for its size and the temporary food van was o.k. Unfortunately we visited while the new restaurant was under construction. Nevertheless a good experience

The cabins are very well spaced so you don't hear what your neighbours are up to (snoring etc). The rooms are clean & fresh towels are provided daily - we were impressed at the quality of the bed & shower (important after a long days hike). We had just spent 3 days in tent cabins at Yosemite- these were far... More

We chose to pay a little more for the cabins with electricity and did not regret it. In September it's starting to be chilly at night and we appreciated the electric heating (although not very efficient in a cabin that's not isolated). The cabins were 200 yards from the main lodge which was practical for going to check our email... More

How can you not be impressed with the setting? The cabins are nestled among the forest which makes a beautiful environment. The cabins themselves are cute and comfortable. The only negative was the bathroom had mildew.
