We stayed just one night at the lodge on our way to Oregon. The location of the lodge is spectacular. The main reception and restaurant is seperate from the three accommodation buildings, so leave all your luggage in the car until you've checked in. To make it easier on yourself, carefully read all the information on their website before you... More

Nice place inside Sequoia NP. Not the most inexpensive, but given the remoteness and vastness of the park, you figure everything has to be trucked in, and that costs. Room was clean and plenty big enough, the restaurant food was very good, service a little slow at times, but they were almost full. The grounds are in a beautiful location,... More

This was our first visit to Sequoia National Park, and we loved it! The lodge was just what we expected, rustic but very comfortable and convenient. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size, clean and with a wonderful shower. There are 3 buildings for the rooms - we stayed in the Sequoia building. It was a... More

One of the better National Park Lodges. An attractive main building in a beautiful setting, and conveniently located for Sequoia activities (not so convenient for Kings Canyon). A decent restaurant, and a competent and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are not luxurious, but a cut above the spartan nature of most national park facilities.

We stayed for 3nights at wuksachi. It's a good location for visiting sequoia and kings cavern. Note it takes about an hour once you have entered the park to get to the lodge. The road is windy with great vistas average speed 15-20 mph The lodge is pleasant in a great setting. We got there at 5pm but there were... More

The location of the lodge is absolutely stunning. Fantastic scenery with lots of opportunities to see wildlife. The mountain air is clean and crisp and you really feel like you are in the wilderness. It's the only hotel to stay in Sequoia NP and unfortunately that seems to mean that customers are treated as a captive audience. Rooms are fine,... More

The Wuksaki Lodge is located in the heart of Sequoia National Park. After a few days in crowded Yosemite, Sequoia was a wonderful experience. The lodge is in the middle of the park, which is convenient to Kings Canyon National Park and the major sites in Sequoia. The main lodge and dining area were cozy and the food was the... More

After a long day of travel, nice and convenient place to come to. The design of grounds was very nice. Would come back again. Walking to the main lobby for dinner (make reservations when you check in) saw 2 deers, a nice surprise.

You need to treat Wuksachi lodge as a stop over to somewhere else. The rooms are like something your grandmother might have furnished in the 70s. The pipes creak and groan, the bathroom fan rattles, the aircon is a removable fan wedged in the window. I had to work out how to remove it to close the window to avoid... More

We stayed 3 nights at Wukasachi Lodge and had a wonderful visit. The beauty of Sequoia National Park is spectacular and they have many hikes that were great for our small children. If planning to have dinner at the Lodge, I suggest making advance reservations. Limited dining space.
