We stayed in a Superior style room on our last family weekend and fell in love with this place. Unlike Yosemite, its not nearly as crowded or expensive. Yosemite has some grand mountain views but Sequoia has its own charms and the biggest trees in the world. We paid for a upgraded room from a Deluxe style room and didn't... More

We stayed at the Silliman lodge, wifi was a bit sketchy, but the location can't be beat! The lodge restaurant was not worth it! Definitely worth doing, just found a good restaurant on the way towards the mountain

The lodge is about an hour away from civilization which is really great when you want to be in the heart of Sequoia. However, there is only one place to eat. The breakfast buffet in the morning wasn't great. You could do a continental for $8 or a full for $13. The options on both are quite limited and I... More

The location is great, and there are not many options to stay, if i were to do this again i would probably camp. The price is very high, and you don't get much in terms of accommodation. Make sure to arrive during daylight hours, parking from the hotel is at least 100 meters away, you have to drag your luggage... More

We had a great time. The lodge and our room were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are well placed in the center of many activities/sights. The view is breath taking, especially in winter. Bed was comfortable. They need elevators to help with luggage.

While the location and setting was perfect, the accomodation desires improvement. The linens need fresheners, the walls between and rooms are very thin and the bed squeaked. The blankets smelled of mustiness too.

Wuksachi Lodge was an excellent choice for us. The lodge itself and the room we had were both very nice. The staff was excellent. We had a couple of “adventure challenges” that the staff went above-and-beyond to help us, including assistance in rearranging our next accommodation to adjust for the fact that we were snowbound at the lodge. For those... More

Wonderful and relaxing vacation. The lodge is great and close to everywhere in the park. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to visit Sequoia in the winter, with minimal crowds! Area is great for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Free shuttle us during Christmas/New Years. Bring snacks as very sparse services.

Well worth the drive. Amazing sights everywhere. The staff provided excellent guidance on what to see given the time of the year . The wine and food at the lodge was fantastic - and much better than expected given the remote location.

The rooms here are very tired and in need of some tlc. The restaurant was, however, great (one of the best steaks I've ever had), and don't hesitate to order the packed lunch for your outings, as it's superb. Absolutely stunning setting, and I completely fell under the spell of this Sequoia...Can I go back please....
