The good of it is the staff is very helpful and friendly. We especially appreciate the maintenance man who helped dig us out and put on chains. The rest of the staff-restaurant and house keeping-also gets high marks. The restaurant is good on the entrees and portions are sufficient; if you're a vegetarian you may not find a lot to...

After experiencing heavy fog, snow and winding road going up (luckily, as we were trying to put on tire chains, a kind ranger stopped by and told us it was ok to drive on slowly without the chains pointing at our back snow tires), it was so relieving to arrive at this warm and awesome lodge. The young lady at...

There was candy on the floor from a previous party near the fridge. I didn't want to check the carpet out too carefully. Stains and smudges.. The table lamp didn't have the plastic knob to turn it in/off. We had to use pliers we happened to have with us. The beds were not made well and the sheets and I...

We loved it. Snow, skiing, could bring our dog, had a suite with a view. Best way to go. The restaurant could have been better but it's hard to complain when the staff is so nice, and you are in such a beautiful place. It is amazing in winter, and the room was really nice. I would stay here, it's...

Awesome staff and service. Check in and check out were fast and efficient. Staff makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Rooms are above average; big, comfortable, well kept and furnished nicely. Meals at The Peak were as good as a 4 star restaurant with impeccable service, nice presentation, and wonderful taste. Is both a wonderful family and romantic property. Definitely...

We went on a group trip to Wuksachi 14 years ago, and finally, this year, got a chance to reunite with our group back at Wuksachi. It is such a peaceful, beautiful setting. Go there for the location and setting! First thing to know is that the actual lodging is not at the main lodge with lobby and restaurant. It...

Overall it was a great experience. The restaurant was good, the people friendly, and the shuttle was a huge convenience! It was a great escape with a lot to do around the lodge! Every night it was very quiet and peaceful around the lodge. Rooms were clean and service was good. Already planning my next trip and can't wait to...

Experienced the park and the perfect place to stay. Great time for family with elementary age children. Great food, lobby games and transportation to the local activities. Wuksachi made it an easy experience.

Wuksachi Lodge is a contemporary version of the great national park lodges. It's smaller than places like the Ahwhanee or El Tovar, but it captures a lot of the same feel, with lots of stone and wood, a big fireplace, and terrific views. The guestrooms are in separate buildings from the lodge itself, a few minutes walk. That's no problem...

If you are staying at Wuksachi Lodge in the winter and snow is predicted, bring a shovel & definitely carry snow chains in your car. Our car was buried in 2 feet of snow that fell within 12 hours. We had to dig the car out. The hotel doesn't provide shovels, but there is a maintenance guy at the hotel...
