Wuksachi is one of the very few options for a room inside Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park. The rooms are pretty much like a Holiday Inn, nothing really special. The buildings are 3 stories tall & have No Elevator. When you're staying at 7200 feet, dragging luggage up a couple flights of stairs & another set up from the parking lot...

The Wuksachi Lodge is a beautiful place to get away in the forest and stay comfortably. It is accessible to the Sequoias and Giant Redwoods and is a warm welcoming place to come into in the winter. The rooms are comfortable and the food delicious.

Dear Katherine, Thank you for visiting Sequoia National Park and we appreciate that you stayed with us. I hope that someday you can visit during the spring or summer to witness the Dogwoods in bloom and then the many babies that are born in the park.. It truly becomes magical.

We had a wonderful stay at Wuksachi Lodge for three nights at beautiful Sequoia National Park, California. Our rooms were fine, but not too impressed with the manner of taking the luggage to the facility. Be prepared to roll and carry your luggage. Also, there were issues with the dining room. While we had a great stay, I do believe...

Stayed two night and was very pleased. Although the hike to the room with luggage was a bit much, we enjoyed the walk to the main lodge building. We found all of our meals at the lodge to be very good, especially the breakfast buffet. The room was nice and quiet. My only complaint was the heat. It wasn't warm...

We only stayed one night here at Wuksachi Lodge as we came from Yosemite National Park and I wanted to see the giant Sequoia trees in the park. We arrived at the hotel about 4.00 pm after seeing the Grant and Sherman trees in the park. All the other reviews talk about the rooms being a distance to get to...

We stayed here in late April. Many of the campsites and some trails were still closed. Given the nearly 1 hour drive from neighboring towns and even the Muir Lodge, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. At this location, you are near many of the Park's key groves and trail heads. I understand that a shuttle is available in the...

It's a National Park, so do not expect pampering, but the hotel management does a wonderful job with the resources available. The lodge itself does not offer rooms. We took a superior room and were located at the furthest corner of the property away from the lodge. Even those in the closer Sequoia building can't avoid being in nature for...

The lodging is separate from the actual lodge, this is fine unless your mom's in a wheelchair and then it's a bit challenging. We expected a challenge so not a huge deal, it would be great if the ramps were not gravel. The pod we stayed in was under renovation, the hallways were ripped up and carpet laying outside, they...

For being out in the middle of nature we were pleasantly surprised. The two night stay was great, the rooms were great. The walk to the lodge in the mornings while listening to the different bird songs was always pleasant. How easy it was for us to forget about work and all the drama of every day life. I enjoyed...

A great hotel for Sequoia NP! Our room was a good size for our family of 4. There wasn't AC but we had a window fan and it was just fine, we were there in August 2016 and it was comfortable for sleeping. The main lodge and an excellent restaurant is right next door, a great restaurant for dinner. We...
