We loved sleeping under the weird and wonderfully creepy trees. The bathrooms are nicely kept. There is fresh water. Rialto beach is a few mins' drive away; Forks about 15 mins away. The spaces were large and when we were there (a weekday - late August), there were plenty of spaces. We stayed in Loop C. We were very happy.

We just returned today from a three night stay at the Mora Campground. We arrived Thursday morning at about 8:15am and were very pleased to come upon site 61 in the D loop. It was a HUGE site, we could've erected four six man tents easily. It had decent privacy with close proximity to the bathroom facilities but not so... More

Get here early as it is a first come, first served campground. Lots of sites and best access to the beach areas. Pretty wooded area and wonderful camp hosts. Plan to spend several days to visit the best sites in this beautiful park

We visited Mora Campground 2016 (mid-July), and our stay quite pleasant, quiet, relaxing experience. As you drive down on Mora Road, you'll see the Ranger Station. The very next left is the entrance & exit to Mora Campground. We arrived very early based on the previous reviews. Glad we took the advice! There were plenty vacant which allowed us to... More

Located close (3 miles) to Rialto Beach, this campground gives you the opertunity to camp in big woods and watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. Bring wet weather gear, but hope for sun. For a plesant day, pack a lunch and hike the beach to new places.

The beauty of this place is that it is close to the beach but not right on it so you can escape the moisture in the air, the thundering off the surf all night and the coolness and cloud cover that you often get right on the ocean. Tip: there is a river that you will pass over on the... More

We stayed here for 1 night sept 2015.it is very nice with spacious sites.close to rialto beach. The only problem I found was that the campground hosts were very annoying. The wife likes to go through your site after you leave and" write you up" with written warnings. no face to face interaction, just your typical campground commando stuff.I know they... If you want to camp near Rialto Beach (and use a campground) this is the closest place. It's a very short drive and about a 20 minute walk down to the beach. My favorite campsites were the ones along the river. The volunteer hosts are very helpful. If you go on a weekend during July or August arrive early of... More

I would not really recommend walking from the campground to the beach. The "trail" is actually the road to Rialto and people were driving way to fast on the road. It's an easy 5 minute drive to the beach from the campground though. I would recommend hitting the campground on a Friday mid day (11-12) if you want a weekend... More

We camped here in one of the most beautiful national park campgrounds. It is near to Rialto Beach (reviewed separately). Fred and Peggy, our camp hosts, were very friendly and helpful to us. We stayed at a wonderful site - D72 - that is next to a path to the river where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and... More
