Check in is at 4:00 and they do not seem interested in letting you check in early. We arrived at 3:00 and tried to check in without luck. Tried again at 3:30. No luck. Went back at 4:00 and had to stand in line to check in. I doubt all of the cabins became ready at once so this was... More

We stayed in one of the Woodland Cottages in September 2016. These are rustic cabins, with no AC or heat, but that was fine with us. We enjoyed no TV or phones, had to entertain ourselves and laughed ourselves silly playing charades. Our first night was at the end of a 92 degree day and we slept with all the... More

The first time we stayed at Mammoth Cave National Park we stayed in these cabins 34 years ago. They are still like I remembered. Small but adequate with indoor plumbing. They did add a couple of modern conveniences like a small fridge, coffee pot, and a ceiling fan. Even though they are in a forest area the cabins were clean... More

Big rooms, comfortable beds, rustic charm, great location near the Visitor's Center. No internet, no TV, no radio which I knew before going and which made the stay very relaxing. We had 2 rooms with bathroom/shower between; the rooms were like separate cabins (each had its own washbasin), each had an outside door and a door to close between rooms.... More

My husband and son had a Hotel Cottage reserved for three nights over a long weekend in June. They arrived in a terrible thunderstorm to find out that their room was unavailable and they had been reassigned. The woman at the desk told them that they consistently overbook their accommodations. They were assigned a Sunset Terrace room. The room was... More

I read the reviews before our trip, so I knew what to expect. There were 9 of us total (4 adults, 3 teenagers) and we stayed in the largest cabin (4 bedrooms). There was plenty of room for all of us. Bonus was 2 bathrooms and 2 mini-fridges. We were only expecting one of each, so that was a nice... More

I find myself disagreeing with all the negatives that made me leery. Yes it's small, cozy, and rustic but they do have AC, are clean, comfortable bed (full size), and have plenty of hot water. I also found the hotel restaurant to have great service and very good food.

These cottages had comfortable beds to sleep in and was very nice and clean. They have room service which we used to get clean towels everyday for showering. They provided bathroom essentials like any hotel. The had a mini fridge and coffee pot. Bugs still found there way in but that was alright with us. And just in case you didn't... More

We stayed here during a cold snap. We brought a small heater. It kept us warm. Do not expect anything fancy, cause it's not. It is like camping only with walls, roof, shower with hot water and a toilet. The place was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that we had no 4g service. The Verizon map shows it... More

The cottages are very bare, only essentials, but are very well-kept and clean. Expect no air conditioning or heat, basic bedding and good housekeeping. The location is fantastic, right across from visitor center. Also nice to be inside the park to partake in great hiking as you wish.
