My family of 5 camped in the tent only D Loop. It was clean and quiet. The showers were clean and the staff at the camp store were very nice. the campground is located on the base of Lassen as you enter the park. We were able to easily drive through the park and return for a good nights sleep... More

Arrived after midnight on Thursday and found one spot open. Moved the next day to tent only D loop. Quiet and centrally located. While late arrival= limited options, arrive right before checkout to find many people leaving. For the $24/ night price- Bathroom facilities could use some attention (lights on a sensor, more racks for toiletries, and hand dryers would... More

We brought an RV to Manzanita Lake. We had to book well in advance to ensure that we got a large enough space for our RV on 4th of July Weekend. The campground was quiet enough and the campsites are large so you barely notice your neighbors. Paying for the showers was a new process for me, but I was... More

This was our first visit to Lassen and this campground. We were pleasantly surprised. We camped on loop A. Our campsite was large and very close to the path to walk to Manzanita Lake. The park was not crowded and the campground was about 1/2 full on average for the 4 days we stayed there. It always felt quiet and... More

It was an okay campground. Nice that they have showers and laundry but i thought it was a bit expensive. $1.50 for 3 mins (wait 30-60 secs for warm water to come out) then you can add another quarter for additional 30 secs or something. Only up side is that its open 24hrs and quarters are available at the laundry.... More

With careful selection you can have a secluded campsite with lake access and mountain views. Nice trails nearby and good fishing in the lake make this a great place to camp. We will definitely return to enjoy this beautiful small campground.

We were travelling to Lassen NP in an RV so this was an obvious place to stay. We always use the NP campgrounds when possible, they are usually in great locations in the heart of everything good and offer good value. This one did not dissapoint, set in woodland and close to the lovely lake as it's name would suggest.... More

This is a large and well maintained campground in a beautiful area of the park. There are lot of campers here, but there enough trees and things are spaced out enough that you don't get bothered by your neighbors much. The facilities include plenty of water taps, restrooms and trash cans to make things convenient and comfortable. Each spot has... More

We camped at Manzanita Lake in our RV and two tents. Our site was spacious and the campground was so quiet. They have times you can run your generator - around meal time, so other than kids playing and a few dogs occasionally barking there was no other noise. We stayed in B loop as it is first come first... More
