The boat trip to the Lodge from Seward is the first great experience of this stay in the wild. The scenery alone is worth the trip but then you get to see sea otters, seals, whales, porpoises, puffins and lots of other bird and sea life. I was lucky that on our small boat were two lady National Park wardens...

I loved this place! The boat ride to and from the lodge was a wonderful experience in itself - saw all kinds of wildlife and the scenery is stunning. The cabins are beautiful and clean and cozy with the most wonderful little back porches. The lodge is really beautiful, and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed the family style...

We stayed at this very unique lodge for three nights. One day of rain, one cloudy and one beautiful sunshiny day. It is set completely inside Kenai Fiord National Park and is reachable only by a very scenic boat ride. You are completely off the grid here and it has amazingly comfortable cabins with hot showers and 24/7 power. They...

Where to start. The boat ride in, staff, food, day excursions, cabins, views....simply stupendous. My husband, son and I spent 3 nights here, which I highly recommend. We took almost all the excursions offered. Staff are friendly, knowledgable and extremely professional. Shawn, Yuri, Tucker, Casey, John, Dylan, Michelle, Bernice, Chenifer(sp?), Hannah, Alex and the rest of the staff were just...

The lodge can only be reached by boat and during our stay we travelled by canoe and on foot. We saw black bears, sea otters and river otters. The seclusion and lack of cars, TV, mobile phone signal and internet together with the beautiful location with a fabulous view of the Pedersen glacier was quite magical.

Our aim at this remote lodge is to disconnect from the stresses of modern life and reconnect with nature - it sounds like you were able to do just that! Thanks so much for the review.

This place gets a full 10 and more for being the most fantastic lodge. This remote lodge has excellent staff, and guides that made our trip and activities so super fantastic. The view from the rooms was super special. The dining too was very nice. In the words of my seven year old grandson who told our guide on our...

The Kenai Fjord Glacier Lodge is worth every penny. Period. It's a well run operation that gives you an active front seat to Alaska's wild and wildlife -- bears, whales, seals, otters, puffins oh my. Yes it's a splurge, but where else can you lodge in the Kenai Fjord National Park with incredible views from every vantage. Staff is incredible...

This is a fantastic experience. You get here via an amazing boat ride where you can see wonderful wildlife. We saw everything from orcas to puffins to sea lions.
