No phones or TV's to distract you from the stunning views of Joshua Tree and the silence of the desert landscape at this wonderful Inn on the edge of the National Park. Our room was so perfect.....decor, amenities, quality of linens and furnishings. Best of all, a clawfoot "hot tub" outdoors in our private patio and a sleeping platform for...

While the weather wasn't in our corner on our wedding day, Scott and Steve (+team) put together the most amazing wedding for my husband and I. They had blankets for our guests, heating lamps, etc. - you name it, they thought of it!! (It made for great pictures, let me tell you!!) I can't tell you how many people said...

We stayed at Sacred Sands for two nights during Thanksgiving week, and absolutely loved it. We had high expectations, because of the great reviews, so I was a little worried it wouldn’t live up to the hype – but it totally did. The place itself is beautiful – the architecture and the interior design/decorating were really well done (in our...

Sacred Sands was the highlight of our trip. The two bedrooms are truly beautiful-exquisitely furnished and tastefully decorated and the patios with hot tubs are lovely too. Steve and Scott are fantastic hosts and cook the most delicious breakfast which is more like taking lunch at a top restaurant! It was one of the best places we have ever stayed...

We had a wonderful experience at Sacred Sands. This is a wonderful environment for a weekend or longer stay in the Joshua Tree area. We stayed in the West Room. In addition to being beautifully decorated, our room was incredibly comfortable and made us feel immediately at home. The shower has multiple shower heads. The room has an L-shaped outdoor...

Real Luxury, close to West-entrance! Very nice, highly committed hosts. The room (North Room) offers real luxury: shower with five shower heads, outdoor shower, outdoor jacuzzi, and outdoor queen size bed - a great idea to visit stars at night! Remarkable designed room - far away from American hotel standard.

We staying here several months ago and are just now getting around to writing the review, the fact that we're writing it now is indicative of how memorable it was! The whole experience from the stark beauty of the desert scenery to the attention to every detail by Scott and Steve; but especially the atmosphere of the room (particularly the...

The service is understated and respectful. The rooms (only 2) are wonderful. No TV , No clocks just luxurious bed and bath. The Inside shower has three different shower heads and a hand laid river rock floor. The bed, bed sheets and towels top quality but what makes the room is the back yard. The yard comes with a outdoor shower,...

This trip was for my birthday -- just when you think your man doesn't listen to you -- he plans something for your birthday that meets or exceeds all of your needs (could it be he is listening after all?) The Sacred Sands is a gem in the desert. The architecture is amazing -- contemporary with rustic touches, indigenous to...

One of the best long weekend stays my husband and I have ever spent. We arrived at Sacred Sands from NYC and were floored not only by the beauty of the desert, but also by the beauty of Sacred Sands itself. The rooms, outdoor spaces, and common indoor space are all soulfully and elegantly designed and attended to with incredible...
