We stayed here in September in Country Room. Just so you know "lodge" and "country room" doesn't mean a room in a lodge. We were in a duplex cabin. The room was nice. The front desk personnel were so helpful and told us of places to view animals. The food in the dining room was very good with ample portions. The service in the dining room was also great. I would definitely stay here again. The lake is beautiful and you have an excellent view of the Tetons.
We stayed in one of the Upper Lake Front rooms. The view from the balcony was amazing. Great view of the Tetons and sunsets. The food and service were both top notch! We would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at SML was wonderful. The cabin was comfortable and cute and, well-equipped despite the authentically rustic furnishings and atmosphere. The views of the Tetons were so amazing that it would not have been surprising if they stinted on facilities or services, but they certainly don't. Excellent in all respects.
I think the best way to start this review is to say I wish we had stayed here one more night. The cabin was exceptional. Large and well stocked. Separate living room/dining area and bedroom. My wife loved the prints on the walls. We had a upper king lakefront and the views were phenomenal. Sunset over the mountains right out our deck were beyond belief. The room was not cheap by any means but definitely worth every penny. Both nights we were there we sat on the deck for a couple of hours with a bottle of wine enjoying the sunsets. Only drawback is the remote location and lack of places to eat. We ate one night at their restaurant and it was really good but didn’t want it a second night so had to drive a while to find something else. That should not deter anyone from staying here. If we ever make it back to this area I hope to be able to stay at Signal Mountain again.…
The cabin's furnishings are rustic in nature, very clean, and full bathroom with tub. We enjoyed a drink on the restaurant deck overlooking Jackson Lake, as well as a walk down the lakeshore. Dinner in restaurant had plentiful options for food and wine.
We finally were able to go to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons as our retirement trip. We were very lucky to get a reservation at the Signal Mountain Lodge in one of their cabins. It was WONDERFUL!! It was a one-room cabin with a porch and fireplace. It had a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and coffee maker. The bathroom was quite nice as well. We could look out across the lake and the gorgeous mountains. We hope to return next year. There is a gas station, general store, and campsite for small RVs. There is also a nice restaurant. No TV, or A/C.
These cabins are to-die-for: exceptionally clean, spacious rooms and bathroom, quality bedding and furniture and toiletries, lovely views of woods, lake, and/or mountains depending on specific location. Check-in was efficient and although we never ate at the lodge dining, it smelled fantastic!
This was not our first pick for a night..it wasn’t even our second, but were we glad we chose this place. We had to cancel a night’s stay in Gardiner due to their flooding and decided to head to the Tetons a day early. Found this and booked it because they had a vacancy. The staff here is very friendly and informative. They have coffee, and hot chocolate ot tea out for guests. They have a well stocked grocery store and a bar and a restaurant on site. Each building hosts 4 different guests. They are units of 4 in each cabin. Beds were soft and comfortable. Great location for sightseeing and you are right on Jackson Lake so you have a great view of the mountain and wild life is all around you. We ended up getting an upgrade on our room and we couldn’t have been happier. We had a full fridge, leather sofa, dining room table, microwave and little stove. We sat out on our porch until very late checking out the stars. We loved this place so much we decided to come back and stay a full week.…
Wow after staying at the Lake Hotel in Yellowstone I was not expecting much. What a surprise! A neat lobby and cool little cabins. Even though we were not on the lake, compared to Yellowstone, this was great. And the restaurant on site is fabulous! Oh and they have Wi-Fi!
Stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to Grand Teton National Park. This lodge had rooms in stand alone cabins. The room we stayed in was a "premium" room which had its own bathroom and 2 queen beds. The nice thing was that it had air conditioning which gave us options in the heat of the day. The room was clean and well stocked. Be advised there is no TV in the room - which we knew ahead of time and it did not effect us at all. Location is convenient to most of the park areas and they offer various activities including an excellent float trip on the Snake River. The campus has a full bar and an excellent restaurant. There is also a convenience store on the property and a gas station. Overall a very good choice for your stay inside the park.
