Good location. Would I stay there again? No. The lodge rooms are very dated, the reception staff were not engaging especially considering the cost. Hadn't seen a CRT television in a hotel for about 10 years but don't bother switching it on unless you like watching through a cloud of snow! Location is 5 minutes walk to the rim or... More

Ok so it was in the park and 5 mins from the South Rim and you cant beat location unless you stay in one of the lodges right on the Rim. The accommodation had all the features you would expect but it was basic. It was clean but a little dated. The lodge cafeteria was dreadful - think school dinners... More

Our family of five stayed here as a part of a package with the Grand Canyon Railroad. The hotel itself is older but very well maintained and up to date. We were able to get adjoining rooms which was a nice feature. The dining options were cafeteria style but the food was above average for this type of dining and... More

I spent a few nights here last summer and it was adequate; it's a typical basic lodge accommodation; you're there for the location! Overall clean room, very dated with a tube tvs. Bathrooms are clean, but bugs are random all over the room as it's in the woods.

My family of four stayed at this hotel for one night, we booked this hotel with a package through the Grand Canyon railway, I thought this hotel was in a great location, our patio overlooked the rail road tracks and we could see the train come in from Williams , we were also a short walk to the south rim.... The restaurant at Maswick Lodge carries a selection of gluten free food. This includes gluten free bread and oatmeal. They will make up a gluten free sandwich to take out. A gluten free sandwich is one of the hardest foods to find. The hot food also carried a gluten free selection.

I expected a bare bones type of room. Instead we had two beds, table with two chairs, tv, coffee, frig., many nice towels, great linens, patio with two chairs, a/c., . The only reason I am not rating it a 5 is because the ceilng fan was extremely dusty. I thought dust would fly if I turned it on. Other... More

Price was more competitive than some places in Tusayan. Our only problem was that we couldn't access the internet even when we were at the lobby or cafeteria where signal was supposed to be strongest. This may be because it was very crowded during our visit in August, and lots of other people were fighting to use up whatever bandwidth... More

We stayed in the north lodges, Redbud to be exact. Our room was on the first floor, large, clean and the AC and ceiling fan were great. We spent two nights there, not a single issue. Mule deer were outside our window (and even out front!) each morning. The bathroom was spotless and spacious. We were on the end, and... More

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's in a great location, close to the west end of the South Rim and the shuttle to Hermit's Rest. The fans helped but without air conditioning the room was still warm at night.
