We arrived in the GC Village after dark and though there were signs directing us to Maswik Lodge, once closer the signs were non-existant and we got lost. Once we found it and checked in, they give you a map to your building's bank of rooms (2 levels with outdoor entrances) and you need to find that. The address numbers...

Maswik is on the west end of the town, within walking distance to Bright Angel trail. Blue bus stops right in front to take you to the visitors center where you can hop on the Orange bus for South Kaibab. Rooms are typical roadside motel style. Water was hot and plenty of water pressure. Room heat controlled by a rotary...

Stayed here for 1 night, room in the Aspen building. I didn't expect 5-star accommodation in this national park location, but actually it was spacious and comfortable with everything I needed - including a coffee pod machine in the room. Location is great, it's only a 5 minute walk to the rim with some nice photo ops as you cross...

The Maswik Lodge is in an excellent location for access to the Grand Canyon and its trails. It is located within a short walking distance to the GC Village and to the Rim Trail skirting the Canyon and its many fabulous views. The rooms are spacious, clean and include complementary coffee and tea. The food at the cafeteria is good...

The cabin was rustic but less so than we had anticipated. It was roomy and had been updated. The location was perfect. A short walk to the lodge where the cafeteria and pizza restaurant were located. Large selection of food choices. Also, an easy walk to the canyon rim and the spot to catch the various buses that tour the...

This facility is very much what you expect to find in state or national parks. It is clean and functional. The front desk staff is very helpful. Don't be surprised by the 3 pm check in time - and since all the visitors here expect to do the same things at the same times don't expect to have the same...

We stayed for one night at Maswik lodge. The accommodation was fine . This is an older lodge in one of the worlds most spectacular National Parks. The room was large and clean , it had all the amenities to have a pleasant stay. Best of all it is a short walk to the main area of the Grand Canyon...

As many other reviewers note .. this lodge is fine. It's ok. It's relatively clean and the room was sizable but old. You'd likely never stay at a hotel like this .. except that it's in a great location, a few minutes from the Grand Canyon. Funny that we paid more to stay at Maswik, than we did at our...

Great inexpensive place to stay. Last November I stayed in one of the north units, this November I stayed in one of the cheaper south units. North units are newer, bigger and a bit more expensive. South units are fine but the carpets were really, really dirty. So if you consider you are not at the Grand Canyon to stay...

Only booked for one night but the room and everything about it were clean and quiet. Good location and lower price without a rim view and was easy to get around with the shuttle bus service stopping right at the door.
