The Grand Canyon is spectacular, but you first must get through the disappointing experience of checking in at the Kachina Lodge. They don't bother to tell you beforehand that you must fight to find a parking space just like all the other people visiting the actual park. I spent an 1 1/2 hours just checking in, by the time you... More

It isn't the Ritz Carlton, but you can't beat the location. Rooms are clean and comfortable and have all you need. There are flat screen TVs, Kuerig coffee/tea makers, a mini fridge, and great soap and lotion products in the bathroom. The canyon views are amazing!

Location location location. This hotel sits on the canyon rim between the Bright Angel Lodge and El Tovar hotel. The rim trail runs right behind the lodge, making it super easy to get up early before the heat and crowds and view the canyon. There are not any restaurants in this hotel but you are a two minute walk to... More

this was my first time to the grand canyon, it was amazing. to make it even more spectacular was that my hotel was overlooking the canyon. Some great picture shots. It was less than 100 feet from the rim

The purpose of going to the Grand Canyon is to see and experience the Grand Canyon. All of the hotels/ lodges are a bit rustic/dated but that adds to the experience. If you want 4 or 5 star accommodations, make a day trip of it and stay outside the park. The Kachina Lodge is located next to El Tovar and... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We were not lucky enough to get a room with a canyon view but it is literally a 50 yard walk from the hotel door to the canyon, the views are absolutely stunning. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all facilities we needed including fridge. There was wifi but it was fairly... More

Conveniently located near Canyon rim, multiple dining options and buses. Large rooms. It was very hot but the A/C system was able to handle it. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Some noise from people walking on the Rim trail, but mostly quiet. A bit Inconvenient to have to go to the ElTovar to check in and out,... More

While visiting the Grand Canyon we stayed at the Kachina Lodge. We had a great view from our window of the Grand Canyon so we could watch the sunset and sunrise. There was AC and sun blinds (a plus since it was over 100 degrees), brick wall which help keep the sounds of people walking along the rim trail outside... More

This lodge is a 2 - 3 star lodge with a 10+ star view!!! If you are looking for extravagant accommodations, this is not your place. However, if you are looking to be swept away by the magnificent view of the Grand Canyon that is steps away from your room, then this is your lodge. We enjoyed our stay in... More

Stayed here because of the price compared to other the other places in the village. Room was average and well kept. Wifi was not very good. We did not have a Canyon facing room but it was just a walk around the corner from the amazing views. They should figure out something with the parking situation. You end up having... More
