I absolutely loved staying at the Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge. We had a little cabin, number 29, and it was perfect. The beds were surprisingly comfortable for my Wife and I. The bathroom was fantastic. We didn't expect such a large and modern facility in the cabin. The shampoo and soaps they had in our room were the best... More

The Frontier cabins look like they were built out of Lincoln Logs, very charming and appealing. Also, very tiny and the bathroom is dark, but that would not deter from staying there again. We booked within 2 weeks of arrival and this was the last cabin available. So, with 100% occupancy, you would think noise would be a problem, but... More

Loved the location, you can do easy trails right from the lodge and the views are fantastic. Rooms are ok but when they are attached to each other, you can hear everything the neighbors are doing (even though you don't stay much in the room, this can be bothersome in the morning). Restaurant is ok but the food could be... More

Basic cabins. No soundproofing and so hope you get quiet neighbours. Cannot park by cabin. Porter service sometimes available if you are lucky, otherwise a long haul for your luggage. Beware high elevation 10,000ft will not suit some medical conditions. Excellent views from the lodge. Good NP Ranger talks. Restaurant quite good, but pays to book in advance.

We stayed here on 9/8 for 1 night. Had a cabin on the main entrance road which was rather noisy from the foot traffic outside. The amenities? Try none. No internet or TV and no cell phone service. If you need to keep in touch with the outside world, choose somewhere else to stay. Keep in mind that this is... More

As far a location goes, the Lodge can't be beat. Of course there's no competition, so it was a slam dunk to start! Still, our 2-night stay was very enjoyable with minor complaint. We had a full cabin on the rim with two bedrooms. The kids shared a bunk bed, while my husband and I had our own bedroom. All... More

My family and I visited several National Parks (Great Basin, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon North Rim, Arches) over our summer vacation and while the views were amazing, we were very disappointed and unimpressed with the restaurants at Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon. What a disservice to the excellent work of the NPS in providing such informative programs, wonderful trails... More

I vacationed at the Grand Canyon Lodge for three days with my husband, and my Aunt and Uncle. We had a four person pioneer log cabin room. There was plenty of space for everyone, my only complaint was that the bathroom was teeny tiny, but that's no big deal. The main building/lobby itself is a gorgeous place. We spent many... More

While the location is spectacular we did have disappointments. Our cabin was typically rustic - which is what we want in a National Park and what you would expect from a National Park concession. We stayed in a Frontier Cabin. While we had good water pressure and temperature – family staying at the cabin next door found that the water... More

The Lodge building and the dining room are great - good views, good service, and good food. However, the motel room we had was definitely sub par. The toilet stall was barely wide enough to get down on the facilities and the short round toilet was painful for members of the male gender. The lights had all been replaced with... More

The more remote North Rim offers up its beauty and solitude to those willing to make a little longer trek to cooler temperatures and greener vegetation of the Grand Canyon's less visited rim. Reservations are recommended. For guests seeking a unique remembrance of their visit to this special place, there is a gift store and convenience store located at the North Rim. Authentic Native American handcrafts, jewelry and merchandise that is U.S.A. made by local and regional artists provide an array of gift items for guests to the Grand Canyon.
