We were a couple with an adult son so only needed a convenient place to access the shuttle. This was perfect as we were able to access the walks without "wasting" time. The toilets and washbasins were very close by and we didn't have to wait to use them. There was a full hook up and some trees between the... More

Stayed at Trailer Village for 2 nights in July. Small skinny sites with one Shadetree her site. Asphalt pad is nice the rest of the site is basically gravel. Camp entrance has ice for sale. Convenient walk to tram stop at Campground entrance which will take you throughout the south rim on the tram Loop. No amenities like pool or... More

We read the reviews and were very excited to pull our RV in and stay two nights. The reviews made it seem like jelly stone park. The only thing it had going for it was that you could pick up the shuttle bus from the RV park and go most places within the Grand Canyon. Location within the park. No... More

Trailer Village in Grand Canyon Nation Park on the South Rim has a convenient arrangement with full RV hook-ups and tent camping too. Trailer Village is located near the park’s South Rim bus loop that stops at numerous visitor sites, it’s walking distance to a few restaurants and stores in the Market Plaza. Elks are very domesticated and pay little... More

Arrived just as sun went down, drive into park was breathtaking. RV parking and hook up easy, if with a little help from some other RV-ers! Had a lovely snack of pulled pork sliders@ lodge, would recommend. Joseph who seated us couldn't have been nicer along with our server Lea. The grocery store has all the essentials and way more,... Registration folks were surly. NO DISCOUNTS at all are honored - they have a captive market. Expensive $$$. Showers, which were NOT clean, cost $2 for 8 minutes. Site wasn't level. Terrible wifi - should have know as there were people sitting on the office porch using their devices.

Well for a campground in a NP this pretty good. Although run by a consessionair, it has full hook ups including cable. While eating dinner at our picnic table 2 elk came over to see what was for dinner. Stood there posing for pictures for 20 minutes. It was an easy walk to the a shuttle bus stop which took... More

Easy to get around in this RV location. No wifi and cell service was very spotty, but you don't come for that anyway. Canyon is beyond belief! Sites are somewhat close and not long enough for a 45 ft motorhome and Dodge Ram to park ... but it is doable if you can park the car next to the RV.... More

Loved the location. The park has all the necessary hookups that I needed. I was excited about all the elk that roamed the park in the morning and evening. The only thing I missed having was the Internet.

The first thing we noticed when we pulled into this campground was the wildlife. Elk, squirrel and a multitude of birds can be found right outside your RV door - literally. The site is nestled amongst pine forest and the sites are clean and ample, with each site having a charcoal grill and picnic table. The toilets are clean and... More
