Once again as at Yosemite, chosing the outlying camp site from the village one offers the best of both experiences. The East Desert View campsite still offers a gas station, market place, gift shop/snack bar and the Desert View Watchtower within a 5 minute walk...More

The best thing about this campground is that it is first come first serve, so get there early! We got there around 8 am and it was filling up. We stayed in June and it was a little cooler at night, so bring a blanket!...More
