Absolutely LOVE this place as a base for hiking! However, they changed the menu and restaurant set up, and it is AWFUL! Who wants to hike to come down and eat a sandwich, when that's what you just got done eating all day? And to stand at the desk and order like a fast food restaurant, and have to go back in line for anything you want to order additionally, is just ridiculous. We used to look forward to eating here, but not anymore. Really took something away from this location, and its back country feel. Heard many people with the same complaints. I hope they are listening to everyone, and return back to the previous set up and menu!!!

This is our second stay here and it never disappoints. The Swiftcurrent cabins are just perfect for mountain immersion - if that's what you want. The scent of the evergreens, the mountain views - especially when the sun first hits them in the morning, and the fact that you are surrounded by great hikes without driving! The restaurant is good; the gift store perfect and the rangers really knowledgeable. Beds are comfortable, hot water, good amount of space, love the porch with chairs...it's just perfect!

We stayed 2 nights at Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, wonderful location next to Swiftcurrent Lake. Our room was a motor inn room with a double and twin bed, with bath. The room was average for a national park, with a desk, small table and 2 chairs. The bathroom sink was too small for toiletries, the shower was not good, you could not adjust the spray, it goes straight onto the floor making it slippery. Parking was excellent, right outside your room. The room itself was fairly clean considering how dirty it was outside, especially with some rain. The location is great, hiking trails start here, also just one mile from Many Glacier Hotel. Overall, just an average room, it's what you expect in a national park, but certainly a great location.

My son and I stayed in one of the motel rooms for one night only. Despite numerous tries, I could not book a second night. The room was quite good as far as national park lodging goes. Two comfy double beds with room to place bags etc. the bathroom was small but who cares! Loved the shower! I was very pleased and wished I had booked our whole trip here. Hikers everywhere heading out like a parade to the trailheads. Loved it. Great little store with food and gifts. We never went to the restaurant due to bad reviews so we headed over to Many Glacier Hotel where we sat on the deck and sipped lattes. We bought great sandwiches there too. I already booked 4 nights for next year at Swiftcurrent but couldn’t get that great motel room. Got the two room historic cabin but hey, I’m happy just to get in!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean too. There was a sink in the room which was very nice! You can park your car right by your cabin. There are porch lights on every cabin. It was a nice stay but I was disappointed because we were told the bathrooms would be right down the hall. They were, if you are talking about a hall of trees! It’s a good place to stay if you don’t mind walking to the bathroom in freezing temperatures!
