Don’t be discouraged by the small and winding dirt road that leads to Tonglen Lake Lodge – we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this beautiful and peaceful place conveniently located near the entrance to Denali National Park. The staff received us with a warm welcome and we received excellent service for the duration of our stay, making us... More

Amazing, friendly, quaint accommodations. Slightly off the beaten path which is really nice. Would recommend this to anyone look for less of a touristy experience. Bathroom floors are heated which is a nice bonus! Stay here!

This was my second stay at Tonglen Lake Lodge. As with the first stay, it was a great experience. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. Erika is knowledgeable about the hiking trails in the area and willing to share. The cabins are not big, but if you are in Denali, you should not be inside. Beds are very comfortable.... More

I stayed with my dad and sister. It was a one room cabin: the large King, good sized extra bed and intelligent use of space gave us a pretty comfy fit (work that went into these cabins is amazing by the way). The shower was clean and the water, hot. I also loved the café; a good place for us to... More

Very serene location, clean and well furnished cabins. Cafe is the best place to hang out any time of the day or even by night. Good healthy food options. Every staff member that we interacted with were very pleasant, attentive and provided great service. Activities like Yoga, nature walk and meeting book authors made it interesting. Truly an unique and... More

A stay here is wonderful if you want to escape the stress of modern life. The cabins are truly beautifully appointed and in a delightful setting. The food is delicious and sooo healthy. Donna and her staff/ family are incredibly helpful and great company. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed toasted marshmallows outside in the evening. Wish we... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Denali with our two daughters, their families, and our friends. The cabins are top drawer, furnished artistically with attention to every detail by local artisans. Peaceful and serene, yet rustic and close to nature. Erika was extremely helpful prior to arrival and Donna was wonderful. We arrived late, yet Donna held the... More

Pretty much as others have reviewed. Beautifully maintained cabins....comfortable, spotless, modern rustic. Staff are the nicest & most helpful we have met on our Alaskan trip. Sadly rain stopped us from enjoying the evening outside activities. Great bistro. Highly recommended.
