The cabin was awful, the noise was terrible - dog barking (despite no pets rule), drunks returning from bar and restaurant, dog mess on the porch. It was damp and cold. We were not allowed to sit where we wanted to in the restaurant. The food was cold, the restaurant less than clean. We stuck it out for 2 nights,... More

I had to make plans to visit Denali National Park with short notice. The only lodging I could find was Salmon Bake and Cabins. I was glad I did. These cabins are some of the most reasonable in the Denali area. I stayed in the classic cabins. These have their own bathrooms as opposed to the economy cabins where you... More

Don't be tempted to stay here just because it's close to the park and costs less than most places nearby. The curtain rod and drape were on the floor, broken. One of two light fixtures didn't work. I had to ask for soap and shampoo. No services; but they don't tell you that. After three days, I asked why there... More

This is more of a hostel like setting. THe cabins are above and behind the restaurant. They are clean, roomy and have heat. Some have ensuite bathrooms, others do not. It is not really a tranquil atmosphere, but the entrance to Denali Park is across the street. A short shuttle ride, or a nice fifteen minute walk. This place is... More

All the appetizers were great and the halibut was delicious!! Our server Bucky was fun to talk to and we walked right in and sat down immediately and the service was quick! The decor was also quite interesting and the location was quite unique.

We had a great stay in an economy cabin. There were 2 full size beds, towels and soap provided. There was a half mirror, table, electric plugs and lamp in the tent. The bathrooms were a short walk away and having paper towels was really convenient. Pickup from the rail station was with a $5 shuttle reserved on the Salmon... More

Duson out waiter was above and beyond with his excellent service and suggestions. We enjoyed our meal immensely. A must if you are in Denali. We will definitely come back if ever we are in the area. Their beer selection is excellent. And the staff are friendly

We stayed in the classic cabin because the lodges in town seemed too pricy. I hoped it would be better than advertised like our cabin in Seward. Turns out, the people who wrote reviews were right. The good: the wifi was excellent. The bad: the beds were hard, the room was tiny, the parking was terrible, walking up the hill... More

Cabins were very clean and quiet. Showers were clean and heated. Very close to restaurants and gift shops. Price was reasonable. Would stay again. Close to attraction pick ups. Restaurant was a little pricey.

We were picked up from the train station after some confusion on my part and we were very thankful for Tom the manager. The staff at the front desk was very polite. We stayed in cabin 11 and it was fine. We were disappointed that the 3 shared bathrooms were not kept stocked of paper towels and toilet paper. I... More
