So we had a weeks long adventure and this is the worst hotel with the worst manager on the whole of our weeks long trip through Alaska. Rooms did not have Wifi, did not have a ceiling fan or air conditioning. Some of us in our later years need this..either or!!! But none!!! even telephoned reception to get a fan.... More

Nice room bug for the 4 of us it was a little tight. Great view off the deck of river with all its glory. We were off the road on the ground floor and never heard any traffic - just the river rabidly flowing passed our deck. In this age wi-fi should be included especially for the cost of the... More

We stayed in one of the motel room on the ground floor for 2 nights. The balcony facing the river was nice but with Denali park 10 min drive from there we didn't spend too much time sitting there... The room was very basic. Beds were small and uncomfortable and wifi was very expensive. It's OK if all you need... More

We stayed in two separate cabins. The larger of the two cabins had a decently sized kitchen. Both had nice decks. The larger cabin was up the hill from the river, but the view is mostly obstructed by the trees. You can hear the river and the traffic going by. Bathrooms are small but serviceable. These are cabins and, therefore,... More

As another stated, don't let first impressions fool you. It's a multi building motel style hotel that is much better than you would think upon entering the property. Rooms are big and clean, everything is new, the view of the river is great and it is a very comfortable stay. They could use a place for breakfast which is coming... More

We stayed here for one night while on a land tour of Alaska prior to our cruise. It's quite rustic but had everything we needed for one night. There is a balcony but it was too rainy to spend any time out there looking at the woods & creek. No restaurant at this resort but there is one across the... More

This was a very rustic little resort. There were no phones, refrigerators, microwaves or air conditioning! It was so cozy. It was great to get away from all of the modern day distractions & spend quality time with my family.

I stayed in the Railroader cabin at Grizzly Bear Resorts for three nights. Although it was conveniently close to the park entrance, I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here. I knew that the cabin would be rustic, but I at least expected it to be clean. Upon arrival, we unloaded groceries into a fridge that smelled terrible and had... More

Don't let first impressions fool you. This is a first class, immaculate resort with hotel rooms, cabins and RVs. The staff are super friendly and efficient. The rooms are spotless with bathrooms well thought out for us old farts. About 5 minutes from the Denali Park entrance and a boat load of restaurants and shops.

We needed to stay overnight in the Denali area during a busy time but they had a lodge available for us no problem. It was historical and had a newspaper on the wall telling about where the lodge came from. The front door is only 4' tall so everyone but a child has to duck to get inside. The "sunset"... More
