We stayed at the Grizzly Bear Resort one night as part of a Norwegian land excursion. The room are clean, rustic and dark. We had a good stay and got to meet the owner as he was closing down for the winter. The room have balconies which face the roaring river - very nice scenery!

The buildings & rooms are gorgeous. Everything is new hardwood paneling, and the decor is delightful. The setting is amazing. And every room has a private balcony with a lovely view. Would have liked to stay longer.

This is a very rural and simple place. The room was clean and comfortable. There is no Wi-Fi and the television was an old cathode TV with limited channels. However, there is so much to do at Denali you do not need all the amenities. Also, there is no restaurant on the property, but the property across the street will... More

Not many accommodation options on the park highway, we didn’t expect much after a long day’s driving in the rain, but we were pleasantly surprised. It has been a very enjoyable one night stay. Check in was friendly and fast. We stayed at a river facing hotel cabin room; enjoyed the view from our balcony. The room is adequate—comfy beds,... More

Just six miles from the entrance to Denali Park hides this lovely hotel. It's part of an RV park and looks rather cluttered and uninviting from the road. However, the rooms are lined in cedar and overlook the river so once inside you feel miles away from anything. The price is pretty standard for the area but the place is... More

This resort is family owned and located about 8 miles from the main shopping area within Denali. There is a minor shopping area located across the street, or you can pay $5 each way for a shuttle to the main shopping area. Rooms have a log-cabin feel and each have their own balcony. Wifi is available for 30 minutes after... More

This is a rustic two-storey "resort" beside a river, with a train line over the other side of the river. It was comfortable, but the trains rumbled through at 4am each day. There is a small shop in reception for basics, and otherwise a Thai food truck in one corner of the property. The hotel across the highway (a 15... More

We have been travelling for 2 months and this is by far the most disappointing place that we stayed. The cabin 'had been closed for renovations' - they really didn't renovate ENOUGH! If you are staying here, you REALLY need a car to get out and get food, though the Thai place was quite good.

Spent one night here with a tour group. It was a very nice place. Lots of wood in the room and a great view of the rushing Nenana river 100' or so beyond our balcony. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A nice place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely view of the Nenana River and conveniently located close to the park! I like how there were multiple accommodations options including cabins, camper camping, and drive in camping. We stayed in a hotel room but should have just camped as the beds were the most uncomfortable I've encountered in a hotel. It felt like a pull-out couch mattress... More
