We stayed here with an Alaskan tour. From the outside the hotel doesn't look bad but looks are really deceiving. We stayed four nights, two separate times and every night was torturous. We asked for a king-sized bed so we were housed in a cabin. The cabins, both times were exceedingly small and dark. The second stay we had a... More

Stayed at the Denali Park Village for two nights as part of a land cruise. The building that I stayed in was two stories near the river. The room was generous in size and appeared to be recently renovated. The rooms had comfortable beds, good furniture, nice enough, bathrooms, coffee makers, large flat panel tvs, and blinds with blackout curtains... More

This property has the potential to be quite nice, however lots of little things were not quite right. I think most of the problems were due to training of the staff and management of the property. We showed up around 7:00 pm in our rental car and there were no signs giving directions were to go. I think most of... More

Room had high ceilings, so lighting made room dim, otherwise comfortable. Coffee maker, no frig. Main building has lobby, large gift shop, 2 computers for guest use, dining room, bar and grab and go type food place. Rooms are in several separate buildings, ours with outside stairs and no elevators (Miner's Plaza). Lots of tour options with hotel pickup and... More

We stayed in the hotel as part of a cruisetour package and it did not meet our expectations. Our room was not cleaned for two days. There was food on the floor when we checked in and the food was still on the floor when we checked out. The room was upstairs, overlooking the busy bus parking area. The buses... More

After reading reviews I was expecting a bad experience. We were in building 100 looking at the river. The room has obviously been updated. The beds were very comfortable. Great walk-in shower. No highway noise. Clean and modern. Flat screen TV. Free wi-fi. It is not a Ritz Carlton but we are in the wilderness and it more than adequate.... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of our post cruise land tour. The room was tiny and without air conditioning. We had no ceiling fan but there was a table fan. The first night we slept with it in the window, but that was problematic because of the non-stop light. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was... More

We stayed 2 nights at the tail end of 12 days in Alaska. We had been hiking and camping for weeks, and finally wanted some comforts of a hotel. The DPV had availability even just a few weeks out and managed to get 2 cabins, side by side that faced the river. These were a treat. I had requested that... More

Rating reflects dual experiences-one low and one high. Met at Denali train station by a manager who informed us hotel was overbooked, and we had been re-booked at another hotel in the area. Appreciated manager coming to station to inform us right away. Also handed us tickets for Alaska Cabin Night dinner theater that evening and next day's Tundra Wilderness... More

This was part of a land tour before our cruise. Unfortunately we had to stay at this hotel 2 nights. Room was dimly lit, thick dust in the television cabinet, filthy tub! Restaurant was out of several items "for the second day in a row", and they did not have a large menu. Service was very poor. Breakfast was a... More
