The layout was multiple chalets of 6 to 8 units spread around the complex. We stayed the last night ofnthe season and we arrived early and the girl at the desk didn't really want to deal with us, we were told there was no way our room would be ready and to come back in 2 hours. We didn't get...

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay with us. I'm sorry that we didn't provide you with the excellent experience that you deserved. Check in for the hotel is 3:30 pm. We do our best to prepare rooms early upon request, so I'm glad we were able to provide that service to you. Your feedback about the refrigerator is...

Very nice hotel on a large campus. There is a central dining and shop courtyard on a hill below and then above that their sister hotel the Princess Resort (or something like that). Rooms have a bedroom area and a separate room with couch and table. Sink is outside bathroom. Beds (in our room) are one double and one single,...

Not the common hotel you would expect. This is a big place with cabins all over around, two good restaurants, great rooms, a river, nice views and a good location. You won't need a car because they have shuttles everywhere. It is beautiful and cozy.

We scored an awesome rate on final weekend of the season. Just stayed one night before a long road trip through the park. Enjoyed the stay overall, especially at the unbeatable rate. Staff wasn't the most cheerful, but they weren't rude either. Probably just tired from a busy summer and planning their exodus from interior Alaska. The complex is a...

The hotel is comfortable with a many separate lodge buildings and a main lodge. You can either take a shuttle or hike up a hill to the lodge. Rooms are somewhat dated but more than adequate considering location. Staff friendly and helpful with a few restaurants to choose from as well as being close to off site shops and restaurants.

Beautiful setting with a river running behind our section. Lots of golden oak - grounds were beautifully kept. Room was big, but not many amenities. No toiletries, no room safe - had to go to front desk to get a "safe deposit" box. Sheets were not crispy, linen sheets, but knobby, flannel cotton sheets that we found itchy. A couple...

Room was comfortable except for the shower. The shampoo dispenser was right at your shoulder & we both kept bumping it while showering. It didn't have the curved rods like a lot of places do & that would have helped. It was noisy when people walked by on the way to their rooms, if kids were running, the whole room...

Nice and clean place, conveniently located next to the park. Rooms are nice, clean and have great sitting area. Unfortunately sound proofing is poor, so room upstairs are preferable if one do not want to be awaken by people walking in the middle if the night.

The McKinley Chalet Resort is close to the entrance of Denali National Park. Our room was good sized and was a short walk from the fire pit area. The rooms are in buildings scattered around the property but the walk to one of the restaurants and some shops was easy. It's a longer walk to the registration area but there...

My husband and a friend stayed here because the rest of the Resorts, hotels, are closed this time of year after the "Tourist" trade stops coming after September 15th. But there is an Annual Denali Park State Lottery for local residents. Well, let me tell you. This is the second time he had stayed and it still hasn't changed. The rooms...

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. I'm so sorry to hear that you had a less than great experience. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable visit to all who stay, regardless of how they travel to us. I'm sorry that our housemade caribou burger and french onion soup were not to your liking.
