Interesting place - just down the road from Harmony Borax works, Badlands, Devils Golf Course and Artist's drive. The little cabins were basic, fairly clean, small bathrooms, but had fridge, WIFI & TV, with private parking right outside and a small porch with rocking chairs. I was very interested to hear these cabins were originally constructed at the Hoover Dam... More

We didn’t know we weren’t allowed to drive with an RV into the death valley at this period of the year. So we did and were surprised we were the only one on the campground (when somebody told us later on, we understood why). It was bloody hot, but for that reason the swimmingpool was heaven. It was very nice... More

We stayed at the Inn at Furnace Creek, located up over the valley. This Inn is older, but the rooms are kept up and we truly enjoyed our days there. The dining room at the Inn is first quality. We also ate at the Ranch, which was OK. The internet access was sporatic.

RV park is part of a big resort - guests benefit from the infrastructure like swimming pool, restaurant, bar. Unfortunately, restrooms are quite far away and showers are integrated in the swimming pool area. Creates a certain dependency to the opening hours. All in all a very nice area with very friendly staff. Good rates!

great authentic ranch resort, we weren't camping so stayed in one of the cabins, good air con which was a great relief as stayed in august so extremely hot at over 120 degrees!, the store was lovely, dinner and breakfast were great too, although we loved this place we wish we had not stayed over at this time of year... Room was clean, beds were comfortable, wifi worked, nicely landscaped, swimming pool available, and it was quiet. We did not care for the heat in Death Valley, but this hotel had great accommodations including a good air conditioner.

Camped 3 nights at Fiddler's campground. Made reservations thinking this would assure us a good spot. The campground had little shade with 90+ degrees & they wouldn't let us move to a shadier spot. There was no hook ups. Good part was we were allowed to swim at Furnace Creek ranch pool. Excellent & we got to take showers!

We stayed in the cabins which were a pleasant surprise. They were much nicer than cabins that we have experienced in other national parks. Staying in the park is essential for a short stay so that you can experience sunset and sunrise at Dante's View and Zabriskie Point.

This was a stop on an epic trip from SLC to Yosemite. We have wanted to see this place and thought to take some time out to do so. Furnace Creek satisfied what we were looking for in a campground: a level place to put our pop-up, a fire pit, and a picnic table. The bathrooms were decent as well.... More

We spend a night tent camping in Fiddler's campground which was mostly filled with RVs. It's quite small so wasn't too noisy and you have access to the resort pool and showers which we were very grateful for. There are restaurants onsite which we made use of and the surroundings are beautiful - you're in the middle of death valley... More
