We stayed four nights in the 900 building looking west on the golf course. The room was fantastic, clean and the friendly maids always checked to see if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay there. The pool is a must after being out during the day seeing all of the beauty in Death Valley. The food was fantastic...

We stayed two nights in a cabin at Furnace Creek Ranch. We just wanted to get away and it was perfect. No frills, just wonderful dark skies at night and very quiet. I slept wonderfully. I took a couple of swims in their warm-spring filled swimming pool. We played a couple of games of tennis on the courts. Check-in and...

We stayed at Furnace Creek Ranch for 3 nights and it was AWESOME (quote from my 7-year-old). Central to all the places you MUST see ... Zabriskie point, Salt Creek to see pupfish, Badwater, Golden Canyon Interpretive tour and FARABEE jeep rentals to take to Titus Canyon and the Race Track! It was amazing - sunrise and sunset are key...

Basically if you're not camping you don't have much choice other than to stay at this place! We stayed at the 'Ranch' part of the property as this is cheaper than the 'Inn' part. The cabins were cute - nice sized bed and TV and WiFi. TINY bathrooms though with very loud fans! A/C and ceiling fans so you can...

We stayed two nights at the Inn. The location is perfect, the views are spectacular and the grounds are lovely. But the hotel itself is old and starting to look a bit run-down, and given the price for the rooms, really not delivering on the price/quality ratio. The rooms are a decent size, and furnished 'lodge style' (i.e. 1980s). The...

The location of the hotel is perfect, with an undisturbed view of the nature. When I arrived about 2 pm, only two rooms were available. I took the more expensive poolside one, like an old cabin, but was disappointed. I had to wait nearly two hours for the room to be ready, and ordered coffee in the meantime - which...

It is true that there are not that many choices in Death Valley, but this one is a keeper. The rooms are not luxurious, and there are several price points (cabins are the cheapest -- and smallest). The Inn is part of this development, but the rooms there are much more. We stayed at the Ranch on the valley floor....

I stayed at the Ranch for five days with family (spouse, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, Dad/Grandpa). We had a great time. It is a short drive to many hikes and sights. The Ranch itself is a grassy oasis amid starkly arid surroundings. The rooms are clean and well kept. We lounged around some in the grassy field by the pool and...

We stayed at the Furnace Creek Ranch since the Inn was full and far more expensive. The Ranch resort is a busy spot, buzzing with activity in the early evening on. Our room at the Ranch was $240 a night, I think, so hardly a bargain for something that is essentially a glorified motel. There were 4 of us (parents,...

We stayed in the Ranch part and had a chalet style room. It was very small but pleasant enough and clean. It has a pub, cafe and a restaurant on site. We ate in the pub and it was perfectly good with only slightly inflated prices. Their shop is very very expensive so stock up before you get there (there...
