stayed two nights, hotel was okay, but outdated and needs a new fixes here and there. for what is was it is def waaaaaay overpriced, however, there is no where else to stay remotely close, so i would recommend staying in the park for that reason alone, but might as well stay in a tent at the quality of stay you get. Also, the food at the service areas was not good and also SUPER expensive, bring in your own food, as there were mini-fridges in the rooms.

We were there for the Thanksgiving weekend. The weather was great but everything about the resort was excellent ... terrific food well served and presented, lovely accommodations, nice amenities, well located.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ranch. Our room was very nice, but could use some updating and needed a couple of repairs in the bathroom. We had a deluxe room and I would love to see this room updated to a king bed (instead of two queens) with a much larger bathroom. The bathroom door must have been 24 or 26 inches wide. We were very close to the pool (wonderful) and the grounds are really nice.

I wanted to write this review, because there was recently a scathing post about this hotel on this forum. We have stayed in MANY national park hotels over the years, and this was one of the best we have stayed in. The property was recently remodeled and felt new. Our room was a Deluxe 2 Queen room and was quite large and had a cathedral ceiling. The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows were large and hard. It would have been nice to have a counter in the bathroom rather than just a sink, but there is a very long counter/desk in the bedroom. We had a very small patio with 2 rockers and a table overlooking the grassy area of the property. Everything was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We thought the price of the room was very fair given that we were in the heart of the park during the busy season. We would stay here again without question.

This is a beautiful resort. The rooms are spacious and the patio is a nice place to relax. The general store, 1849 restaurant and the saloon are all great amenities. The pool area is nice, but would be better if there was a Jacuzzi. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful.
