This is my last report and after so many others it is hard to better all the other superlatives used but here goes. First safari so not sure what to expect. Lovely reception very relaxed from the second we arrived and our car keys were taken from us everything was done for us. All inclusive so any drinks at any...

Kariega was the perfect end to our South Africa trip, it was recommended to us by a friend that had lived in South Africa who had visited many game reserves. We stayed at the Ukhozi lodge which was excellent, from our private deck area we could look out over the plains and spot lots of animals through the binoculars. Our...

The atmosphere of this place was really laidback and chilled out, with a wonderful setting. Staff were eager to please and the food of good quality. Of course, what we found to be truly rewarding were the game drives. In two days we spotted 21, including the big 4 all in one drive and not including birds. We could not...

We were with a party of 8 and spent two days there towards the end of February. We managed to fit in 4 game drives with an absolutely brilliant ranger Thomas. He was so knowledgable but also has a great sense of humour. We were also taken by boat to Kenton and the beach for an afternoon walk. Go for...

Absolutely brilliant. Our ranger Ben knew so much and couldn't do enough for us. Great food. Can't fault it. Saw so many animals and habitat. Walked amongst the giraffes and zebras. Boat to Kenton. Fabulous

We stayed 2 nights in Kariega River Lodge. That was too short. The game drives were a fantastic experience. Saw many animals and ranger JC is a great guide. The lodge is pure luxury. All meals are fine. After Breakfast you can take the Boat to the beach. Worth it!! Didn't want to leave... and we will come back!

We stayed at River Lodge for 3 nights. It is set in a wonderful location . The staff were excellent but the accommodation didn't quite live up to my expectations. The game drives were awesome and we saw things that will remain with us for a very long time. Our Ranger JC was amazing and gave us the experience of...

Where do I start? The Kariega reserve is sensational and the River Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our safari. Within 24 hours we had seen the BIg Five (and much more) and now looking back through our huge portfolio of pictures I realise with some trepidation just how close we got to truly wild lion, hippo, rhino...

We stayed two nights and made five trips out in the wild. Excellent wine and fine beer was served along with great food. Our ranger really knew it all and had us experience some unforgetable moments including close encounters with the most exotic animals. Birdwatching and river trips by boat was arranged. Unforgettable trip.

We have just spent four fantastic days on our first safari. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we drove up to the lodges. We had an upstairs lodge with a lovely balcony with views into the reserve. The room was huge and very well equipped with a vast luxury bathroom. The lodge is all inclusive...
