Beautiful lodges with amazing views and first class dining. Nothing could have prepared us for the thrill of seeing the animals up close and personal or the slight feeling of fear as we drew up along side the lions and lionesses. We were also lucky to have such an informative ranger who provided us with plenty of knowledge and opportunity...

Fantastic way of getting to see the 'Big 5' and more roaming around in such a natural environment. We were assigned a fantastic ranger (Steph) for each of our game drives - she was extremely knowledge and great at her job. We stayed in the main lodge and were assigned a lovely (clean, spacious) chalet with a huge private viewing...

From the start to the very end a really fantastic experience. Hospitality: we didn't miss a thing, staff really friendly and omnipresent, but not intrusively Ranger: top of the list - very knowledgeable, quick-witted and pleasant; got to see so many animals up close without being afraid - thanks again to Wayne! Food and Drinks: choice of food changed every...

I had to keep pinching my self that I had finally got the experience of a safari. To be so close to the Animals was amazing. Also to be told so much about the way they live, what they eat how their bodies are made up etc. An experience I will never forget.

Stayed for two nights. When we drove from the entrance gate to reception we were greeted by herds of antelope and a mother & calf giraffe. We pulled up at reception & again were surrounded by antelope & a white rhino was taking a drink at the waterhole just across the road. This was all before we had booked in....

This is a great way to get up close to some serious dangerous and or very big ones. With a great ranger to guide you, prepare to become thrilled. You may get bounced around a bit sitting at the back of the truck but it all adds to the fun.

Had a wonderful time at Kariega. Our guide Gugu was fabulous! We saw lots of animals on each safari. Meals were good, service was perfect and staff terrific! The staff were always welcoming you back to the lodge after each safari with warm towels and drinks! We were very happy with our stay.
