Beautiful setting in a modern renovated Abi with thick walls, tall ceilings and majestic doors. Yes, very nice. Service was pleasant but not 5 points. Nice breakfast with fresh breads and honey that was awesome. Ordered replacement for luke warm coffee and never arrived. Had heater fail (happens) but no apologies. Overall a very nice experience.
Stayed 2 nights whilst attending a meeting here. Friendly and helpful staff, rooms are clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurants is good too - plenty of choice and tasty. The conference centre had everything we needed to hand, lots of space for a productive meeting. The venue itself is stunning to experience.
I have to mark this place down because the description is misleading, especially on booking.com. This is primarily a conference centre and not what I would consider a holiday hotel. Indeed, there is a restaurant, but the kitchen closes at 18.00 and on Tuesdays even though they are still catering for the conference attendees. There is a bar which stays open and supposedly supplies snacks. Two were on offer, wurstsalat and bread, no butter, which is just a load of chopped up pink sausage in a dressing, awful, or a speciality which is camembert and butter mixed with some flavouring, and bread, uninspiring. So don't rely on that for your evening meal. Nothing else other than paprika chips and peanuts It was also very noisy. Apart from that, the room was large, comfortable and clean with a proper hairdryer and grip bar in the shower. The location is wonderful on a small peninsular jutting out into the lake. Peaceful and restful. Plenty of green garden and sitting places. There is a sauna which we didn't use. The nearest proper restaurant is a good 15 minutes walk away through poorly lit streets.…
A delightful overnight stay at this beautiful hotel and former monastery. The decor and furnishing is neat and modern. The rooms were very comfortable, although the 6 am church bell wasn’t welcomed. Ask for a room away from the church! If you want to eat at the hotel, get there early - the restaurant closes at 6:45 pm!!! However, take a hotel bike or walk to the nearby village and sample the superb local god at the Neuwirt Gasthaus. The hotel breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious. The staff were superb and friendly. Loved it.
I have been here for just one night. Unfortunately ! The Kloster Seeon is directly attached to a lake (Klostersee), a beautiful location. The single rooms are quite big, simplistic equipped, but nicely (it is a cloister!). Bathroom is lean and clean. The bed / mattress is not on a current hotel standard. No aircondition (monument conversation?). However, the staff is super friendly and professional organized. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of food. I have been in several hotels in this area over the last 12 years and a bit sad that I never consered to get there. I definetely can recommend this fantastic location I will do a booking as soon I am back to the region. Just the quality of the mattress is to be improved.
