Really nothing special, wooden houses, tourist complex, that you have to pay entrance fee that is almost twice of a real ethno village. Love Kusturica movies but miss the authenticity of this village.

Verry, verry good!!! Emir Kusturica, the famous movie director made this little tourist complex. It is roustic, etno village with clean, small cotagges (rooms). Very, very clean, and the best accommodation on Tara, with great domestic cuisine.

The location and view on scenery is overwhelming. The idea to build this wooden facility is extraordinary and great. Unfortunately the service in restaurants and cafe is solely average and sometimes even carried out reluctantly. Food is quite good.

My initial reaction when we got there was: wow! The "village" is a collection of wooden huts and houses half way up a steep hill with beautiful views in two or three directions. There were a number of restaurants (and a small church) on site, the one we used offered a buffet for breakfast and the evening meal. There is a cinema in one of the buildings, the film which was showing when we were there must have had translations available because some of our group went there. My room was large, it had a loud minibar and I had to work out how to handle the melting ice before unplugging it. The bathroom was cramped, the shower used the bath which was just large enough for a small child. Apart from a loose shaver socket the room was in a good state of repair. WLAN is unencrypted. A/C

This place is popularly called wooden village, made for shooting of movie Life is Miracle and then extended by the director. Its nice quiet place for relaxing 2-3 hours, when you in Zlatibor or Mocra Gora. Few souvenir shops and cafe, nominal entrance fees, scenic beauty worth capturing in camera and memories.
