Stunning location for this super pub (and B&B/Hotel and brewery). Low beams, good beers, super sandwiches and sun trap beer garden. Had lunch after a healthy jaunt around Loweswater and must be just as welcoming and cosy when the weather is less favourable.

The Wheatsheaf at Lorton is definitely the nearest to The Kirkstile and they also have statics. Alternatively, I believe there are spaces behind The Bridge at Buttermere. Good luck with your search and enjoy.
