Our first visit to Goldsborough Hall. Booked in for afternoon tea as a birthday gift. Lovely location and sat outside overlooking the beautiful grounds. Brilliant weather too. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely choice of cakes, sandwiches and scones. Very popular. We rang in June but first available booking was mid September which shows how popular Goldsborough Hall is.

Had a two night stay as part of our honeymoon, what a fantastic place to stay, a character building steeped in history. We were looked after by attentive staff who were always cheerful and happy to help, we enjoyed a 5 course taster meal which was a truly wonderful experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay

Not our first time but this time we brought friends for a 2 night stay. What a lovely reception, comfortable room, great staff and a really really very good tasting menu. We ate in the pub the night before which was excellent. A group of 3 couples we absolutely loved our stay. We will be back. Thank you so much Goldsborough.

After last minute cancellation of another overnight stay elsewhere, we decided on the spur of the moment to book Goldsborough Hall. We first came to this hotel last August, and was so impressed, that we thought another visit was overdue. We arrived soon after 3pm to a very warm welcome from Dawn and Mel on reception. Fresh milk was provided by Dawn for our in room fridge for tea the following morning. Pre dinner canapés and drinks were served on the terrace, Our five course taster menu was delicious and overseen by the wonderful head waiter Mario. The owners, Mark and Clare Oglesby, are perfect hosts, who are engaging, and very inviting, into what is essentially their home. Will we return, there is no doubt about that.

We had a voucher for afternoon tea and were lucky to visit on a warm sunny afternoon. The tea was beautifully served on the terrace overlooking spectacular gardens by attentive staff. The gardens alone are worth a visit, the Hall is spectacular. All in all a 5* treat!
