Despite these hard times I just wanted to put pen to paper to review our lovely meal. This was my 3rd visit to Goldsborough Hall to eat - We ate in the Orangery which was very bright and pleasant. It was nice and warm. The Pumpkin soup and homemade bread were the nicest we’ve had! Then followed a very tasty Roast beef lunch. We were all too full for a dessert. The staff were very helpful and obliging. We won’t hesitate to go back again after the lockdown. Thank you all.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Ample car parking around hall. Warmly welcomed by staff. Taken I initially to a lounge to be informed of everything we needed to know. Had a large classical room in main hall. No lift at present time. Bed was more than super king. Large bathroom with spa bath. 3 sinks. Electric shower. Fridge and coffee machine in room with plenty of teas and coffees. Fresh milk in fridge. Had delicious cream tea on arrival in library. The evening meal was 5 course taster menu starting with canapes in lounge. The food was excellent. Purchased extra course of cheese board served with port. Breakfast was ordered night before. A wide varied breakfast menu to suit all needs. All rooms I this hotel are worth visiting. Beautiful gardens to walk in. Very efficient check in and out. All staff were delightful and professional. Definately recommend a visit. Would love to revisit in the future

Whilst perusing the internet for nice places to visit for lunch we came across Goldsborough Hall. The impressive photographs draw you in immediately. We decided to do the 80 mile trip to check it out and we are so glad we did. The Hall itself is just so appealing that we had to visit every room before we left. Each room causes you to stand back in awe for the way they are decorated. From the management down over the restaurant staff are very young - but so professional in the way they carry out their duties. Obviously someone has spent some time in the training of the staff as they present themselves as being very attentive, courteous and friendly. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious. Compliments to the Chef. This place is well worth a visit. After eating lunch the Hall and the grounds are there for some beautiful photographs to be taken. Can definitely recommend Goldsborough Hall. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

Just returned from a long COVID delayed stay at the Hall. Well worth the wait. The approach to the Hall through the garden area is a pleasure. Cared for lawns and flower beds give a forerunner to the attention to detail which runs through every aspect of the Goldsborough experience. The staff, without exception, ensured our stay was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. COVID compliance carefully carried out and encouraged. We felt quite secure in this respect. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this outstanding hotel.

We have dined at GH on numerous occasions and each time the food was yummy and beautifully presented. I dare to say it's one of the best places for afternoon tea in Yorkshire. Staff is always very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend to have a stroll around the grounds to burn the calories as it's a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back. Thank you for yet another great meal!
