Actually, everything has already been mentioned and we can only agree with all the positive comments.

The family business is perfect for uncomplicated people and is in an excellent location. You immediately feel completely at home. Very warm and easy communication.

Great and very varied breakfast. There were different products every day and they were all excellent.

We can warmly recommend the accommodation with a clear conscience and are already looking forward to the next time.

This was another of those plesant surprises we've run into during our trip to Italy. A very plesant place with fantastic views in a cute little town, and a wonderful hostess, Valle. The location is perfect, right off the tiny main street on the edge of town, with good parking (not always easy to find in these hill towns!)

The air was fresh with the smell of the grass from the nearby Alpine pastures, and the views went across the valley and seemingly forever. Our very comfortable room was upstairs, with full access to the balcony the ran around the house. Breakfast was more than adequate, being more in the German mode, with dark bread, speck (thinly sliced ham, a regional speciality), full-flavor yogurt, a soft-boiled egg, cheese, jam, butter, etc etc. Quite satisfying!

Valle conversed eagerly with us, in spite of her limited English and our bad Italian (we joked about staying for a month and giving each other language lessons).

We spent three nights at Haus Urban, using it as a base to explore the area, and to get a sense of life in the local community.

Be aware that Haus Urban is a family home, not built to the standards ofa high-end hotel. Some family noise is not unusual!

Haus Urban is set in a lovely little village that is perfect for those who like a more quiet environment. Restaurants, small grocery market, WONDERFUL bakery and an ATM machine all within walking distance. Well-placed location to go on the many hikes that branch off of the Keschtnweg (chestnut trail).

The proprietress is an excellent host and is glad to help with any information regarding the area. Breakfast was very generous: the local ham, bread, homemade jams, boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee. We usually only have coffee and toast at home, but at Haus Urban, they make sure you fuel up for the day!

The bedrooms are large, and as other have said, the bathroom is tiny. I prefer to describe them as a "one person at a time" type of bathroom, and it served its purpose sufficiently. The beds were made up every day and I really appreciate that they allow small dogs (not in the breakfast room however).

Some people mentioned the place being a bit noisy, but I feel it has to do with the house which is wooden and I guess sounds will travel to some extent. In our opinion, it didn't bother us at all.

We arrived into town late and without reservations. When we asked for a room (2 couples) she didn't have any, but she didnt stop there, she called at least 6 other locations and found us 2 rooms in a hotel of a friend who was away. The friends daughter was watching the hotel and together they made a warm and welcoming place for us. A rare kindness!! Price was good and breakfast generous.

My partner and I visited in September. The hosts went above and beyond to make us welcome. We got to use the front garden with the most amazing view of the mountains and the hostess was helpful at providing tips on local spots to visit

We stayed at the Haus Urban for four nights as starting point for our winter holiday. The breakfast was generous and each morning we had a nice chat with our hostess, who was very helpful with local tips for restaurants and advice on benefiting from our included tourist cards (musems, wine tasting etc.).

A dashing view on the Dolomites, not to far from Bozen (Bolzano), startingpoint of lovely dayhikes, good and solid breakfast, a quiet place to come to rest after another buzzy day exploring South Tirol. Even the small village of Barbian has everything from an ATM machine, lovely tavern and restaurant, grocery market and all in a beautifull setting.
