If you stay at the Swan Inn you will find your wallet a bit lighter but your weight a bit heavier! - … it’s not a cheap option, but is worth every penny. The food is absolutely topnotch; despite the pub being extremely busy on the Friday and Saturday nights, with all the tables taken in the bar and private...

We visited to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday. We ate but didn't stay as she lives locally. The menu is packed with tempting dishes, many of which have ingredients which have been sourced locally. I had the ox cheek lasagne to start which was lovely. For main courses, we ordered the steak and kidney pudding, lamb and slow-cooked pork belly....

Charming pub in the village of Bampton. Thank you for a lovely lunch. The food was excellent and the pub catered for 14 people easily. The Sea Bass was particularly lovely, though everyone enjoyed their meals. Excellent.

A late meal booking but they mananged to fit us in. We were sat in the upstairs room with its exposed roof timbers which screamed character. An interesting menu with a good range of local produce and the food itself didnt disappoint in taste or presentation. The staff were welcoming and the service was quick and efficient without being invasive....

Lovely, lovely rooms upstairs from a great pub serving good food, yes, but actually - what marks this place out is the quality of the breakfast. Excellent sausage, excellent black pudding, good bacon, beautifully cooked mushrooms, and a hash brown. Top work, Paul.
